Lt. Col. Lindman

Holy shit! Triggered. :)

Indeed. And my meager observations and questions are nothing compared to what those two are going to go through under cross examination during a Senate trial. And all the half-baked, juvenile, twitter like response such as have been offered up in this thread won't mean shit to a tree.

Typical Republican response attack the messenger and ignore the message .

A half-baked, juvenile Twitter meme is not a message worth responding to. How thirst is the resident German Nazi to fit in to presume to tell Americans what "tyjpical" Republicans are like, DomElliotRogers.

jesus h. christ !

a coup = a sudden, violent, and illegal seizure of power from a government.

Showing Lit readers, again, your extremely limited vocabulary and knowledge of the English language. Not unexpected seeing as how you are a foreigner.

It's a four-year, peaceful, legal coup.

Look at the noob trying to make his bones calling everyone else an idiot when he doesn't understand what a metaphor is. That's Phrodeau-level stupid.

The coup thing is hilarious. Whatcha gonna do if he's pushed out? Nothing. You're gonna sit there and complain on the internet. Pussies.

The difference between the real, authorized, operational arms of the US National Security and Intelligence panoply, and those who would go up to a kid with a high-speed USB, and stick a bullet in his face, is that State-authorized violence HAS RULES.

But you know what? If you think this is all going to be quite as easy as having Ali Chalupa swim around in the background in the shadows with some Ukraine cash - and no one get hurt over it regardless that a lot of you are throwing 'mud' at the current sitting President of the United States (either because you like to live dangerously or you're paid to do it) who you apparently think has no friends in 'the dark arts...'

Then, by all means. Keep it up.

Character assassination is not going to work.

When all is said and done it will be shown that Trump tried ro divert Congressional ie Taxpayer funds to extort a foreign country into digging up dirt on his personal political rival--and thereby activiely working against US National Security.

Either you argue that this is fine, no big deal, or you impeach the MOFO. That's what it's going to come down to. Defend the substance or not.

Wishful thinking where the outcome has been predetermined...

If the evidence is dirty, no big deal, as long as the outcome is achieved.

Is English your second language?

Re. Harvard. Since the ballooning of the size of the government during WWII, with rare exception EVERY high level official at State and the CIA are graduates of an Ivy League institution with Harvard and Yale sharing the top honors. It's not that those institutions are the repository of all knowledge, or even the best knowledge, it has to do with who was in charge at the time of government growth. There IS a good ole boy alma mater network in place with the higher ups seeking referrals from the various faculty at those institutions. A degree from any of those schools doesn't necessarily mean anyone is smarter or better educated than anyone else, but it sure as hell gets you the foot in the governments door via the referrals.

With regard to foreign policy I'm beginning to wonder if that's such a good thing? The US seems intent on making the same foreign policy mistakes over and over again. There has been no major foreign policy change since Bretton Woods except for that regarding China and that hasn't worked out all that well in that after China was recognized -back to Bretton Woods. If everyone is taught the same, they're going to tend to think the same.

That's pretty much spot on but I wonder if the world has ever worked
any differently. The witch doctor has become institutionalized, but...

he's still the tribal leader when it comes to all things subjective.

True enough until someone shows up from a different school, a school not in the "network." Following your train of thought, in a sense Trump represents our equivalent of Akhenaten. The established priesthood is out to destroy him.

Good observation.

He could, in some ways, be a character out of an Ayn Rand novel.

The American witch doctor who happens to be President right now is being investigated, with the approval of the majority of the people in the tribes of his nation. He himself has stated there is a "witch hunt" underway.

He is being investigated for pressuring other nations to investigate his own security institutions. He is basically telling these other nations that his own nation's security system is in disarray, and then telling them to come to his aid by backing up his story about the deep internal conspiracy against him.

While his own tribe thinks that this approach to foreign affairs is "perfect" if it gets him re-elected, the majority of Americans believe it is time to hold this witch doctor accountable for selling out the integrity of their security institutions in order to get some cheap votes, while at the same time making America chaotic and vulnerable to international power moves.

"the majority of Americans" who voted in 2016 voted against Trump, too. How's that been working out for you, cunti?

Gosh, calling me a profane name! You sound a bit upset again. :rose:

Was it something I said, or is this whole accountability thing just too upsetting for you?

Actually, I've never even imagined you and the word "accountability" together in the same thought, cunti.

Oh gosh, cursing again. This must be so hard on you.:heart::heart:

Look on the bright side. After this whole impeachment process is completed, your tribe members in the Senate will probably let your tribal leader off the accountability hook.

So, cheer up, and try not to tarnish your sterling image in the mean time!

Name calling is absolutely the best way to demonstrate that one has the superior argument

Actually, there's nothing better, in my view, that could happen to this country than the Senate removing Trump from Office right before next year's election. But, you go right ahead and keeping living out your hollow ascriptions, cunti.

As an aside, I know of not a single Senator who I'd refer to as a fellow political tribe member of mine. I prefer my politicos much more like Patrick Henry, who declined to be his State's first Senator and turned down Washington's offer of any position in the new federal government he wanted, including becoming the first Chief Justice.

Oh well, c'est la vie.
