So an update on my situation.

My fuck buddy is just a buddy now. He's going out with a friend of ours now. So that raises a question that other would be posters might be asking. Does posting here help you become more comfortable with your body, or is it something you do in spite of your discomfort?

Hmm...that's actually a good question.

When I post stuff and get the good responses, I feel like my body is okay. Flawed, of course, due to my size and whatnot, but that it can actually interest and arouse people despite those flaws.

When I'm going around in real life though and my physical appearance is only looked at in disgust...yeah, I don't feel so good. =/ I know it's terrible to be focused on the physical, but from my life experiences so far, my intelligence and, for the most part, my personality have always been considered great and the physical is the only aspect severely lacking.

But I suppose we can't have it all, eh?

Sorry to hear your real life experiences are hurtful. And of course when that happens repeatedly its hard to have a good self image. One thing I love about lit is how accepting everyone is. It's good that you've been able to do this and discover that indeed, many people are turned on by things other than a Playboy perfect body. In fact I find that what you call flawed is actually what gives a woman character and part of what makes her interesting. I'd far rather look at women who are less than perfect. You are truly beautiful, in spite of your so called "flaws"

I think I make it sound a lot worse than it is, but really, it's just the highschool/college culture that gets me down. Most guys around here either like tan, leggy, and nubile, or cute and petite. None of which I am. =/ So I end up just being one of the guys. I like it and all because they can be comfortable around me, but you know, once in a while, it'd be nice to be treated like I'm actually a woman, like I have a pussy and not a cock.
