Yes is there more news to report? Is he on a regular floor in a regular bed yet? Do they still give out the bears for them to hug when they cough?

Update!!!!!!!!!!

Just talked to Lusty on the phone!!!

He is weak to talk to from being intubated, but he is able to get up and walk around a little bit. Unsure when he will come home, maybe a time in rehab for a few days to build up his strength.

It was a long procedure but successful.

He was REALLY touched with everyone's concern. I told him about all of the postings that are here waiting for him and he laughed! Especially about the naughty nurse pictures!

I will come out of my self-imposed hibernation from Lit to post his updates.

Yes thank you so much again for being kind enough to think of updating us on his recovery. I am well aware of what a trying experience this is to go through. Glad to here his is up and around. I am sure he will be finding his own 'naughty' nurse in no time - chasing her around the room. Go get 'em Lusty! Or at least regale them with one of your fantasic poems.

You are quite welcome! I just wish he was able to talk more and doing better more quickly... He is trying to keep up good spirits and it helps to know he has friends here.

I've been trying to do something for Mr Lusty.....but I'm still working on it...and its not like its going to be anything special..just hope I can add a small amount of joy into his life as others have been doing. Question is do I do it more to my innocent tendencies...or spice it up.... <_<.....>_>.....SHHH! Dont tell....
