I realize that years of watching Fox News has conditioned you to push the Pavlovian "I'm Outraged!" button each time you hear a word that starts with the syllables "trans" and "gen", but have you any clue what a "transgenic mouse" is?
No you do not.
A transgenic mouse is a mouse that has had "defective human DNA" spliced into his/her genes. It's cutting-edge stuff and currently being used to identify possible treatment protocols for things like cancer and leukemia in particular, nasty things that affect the health and well-being of people,,, even people just like you!
As you can see, "transgenic" has nothing to do with sexuality or gender, and everything to do with diseases we don't quite have a handle on yet. So you likely WILL see results of testing on transgenic mice in JAMA someday.
(You likely won't hear about these results on Fox News though, they know their viewership despises science in general and healthcare science in particular).
