Erik relaxed with Fox as she recounted the past. “I like Raven. Pretty name – maybe I should call you Raven Fox.” He smiled and continued to listen.

She smiled "You can call me anything as long as it's a kind name" She grinned "We have known each other six years, why keep it hidden till now?"

“It's only recently I've come to see you as an adult woman. Maybe I need glasses,” he said with a chuckle.

She looked at him "I want you to answer honestly. But were you worried I would be afraid of you?"

She looked at him the way she looked at him did not change. She looked at the metal on her limbs and thought of his powers. " your gift is to control metal isn't it? And in doing so you can use the magnetic field that's on our planet how close am I?"

He smiled. “You are right, my Raven Fox. It is an awesome power also a frightening one. There is metal in so many things. Did you notice the candlesticks on the dresser? They rose in the air as well. Being aware of unforseen consequences, makes me cautious in using my abilities.”

Fox nodded and cuddled up to him resting her head on his chest showing him she was contestable with him. She looked up into his eyes "im assuming that im the only one that knows. Unfortunately the rate of humans hating mutants is way up there" she sighed. "I hate ignorance"

“I know what you mean, and yes, you are the only one who knows. There is another thing you should know; it's been on the news a few times. A metor is heading in the direction of Earth. It's expected to miss, but I think it wise to keep track of its progress. Would you like to do that with me?”

Hearing what he said she nodded sounds like fun its something I know how to track but you already know this" she chuckled.

“Well, I guess we should dress; unless, you prefer to work naked,” he said with a grin. “Leave the metal bracelets in place.”

She smiled at him "Actually really don't have to I have metal in my back" She laughed "But could come in handy hey maybe I can get special bracelets that look like jewlery would help keep me safe and hide in plain sight"

“You must be a mind reader too – was thinking the same thing.” Erik placed his hand on Fox's naked ass. “Humm, so you are going to work naked? Nice. Might make me too hard to work.” He laughed as he started to dress.

She smirked at him but she got dressed. They worked at the same place but she had an office job while his was labor. Fox had not been feeling great so she got a test when she took it. It showed she was pregnant her eyes were wide but she was not going to tell him till the doctor could confirm it

Erik's day went as usual, keeping his mind off other things; although, thoughts of Fox entered his mind frequently. He was truly smitten with her. He couldn't help but wonder what surprises lay in the future.

She had no clue today would be a huge issue today while working something blew in the factory everyone felt the explosion and she got a bad feeling and left the office. She noticed Erik using his ability to save a co worker. She saw the fear in there eyes. "Erik go home now and pack" she said in English

Erik heard Raven Fox's words. He trusted her completely and left the factory. He hurried home and packed only the things he needed.

She ran home soon after by the time she got there the police were there. She walked up seeing the cops look at her they had weapons that had no metal in it and knew Erik couldn't stop it. She heard the police speak and she responded.

"The only monster is you I will not let you hurt him!" she saw them pull back on there bow and arrow and seven arrows were let go and something inside her put her hand up and the arrows stopped moving even the men were not moving. She put her hand down and motioned for him to follow. She removed a tarp and her car was seen.

"They will try and kill you but I have a plan B" she told him to get in the car and they took off she waited for the question of how if she lied about being a mutant

Erik sat in the passenger seat while Fox drove. She was focused on driving, and he waited for her to reveal more of what was happening. It seemed she had access to more information than should be possible.

He put his hand on her knee and squeezed. “I love you always, my dear Raven Fox.”

She felt his hand on her knee and looked at him "I am human sadly" She said simply but as they got to the air port there was a private jet they were taking. "Erik they will hunt you as long as we are in your country we need to go to mine, I pulled some strings to get this jet. As for the telepathic power....." She took his hand off her knee placing it on her stomach. "Our child is the one that saved you...." She looked up into his eyes. "I wasn't going to tell you till a doctor could confirm it but....guess the powers was our child's way of announcing it's inside me" She only called it it because she didn't know the sex.

"I guess I can tap into the childs power but I don't know if it does anything to the baby which is why I hope it doesnt hurt the baby me doing that" She sighed softly.

Erik was surprised when Fox told him of the child. “My precious Fox, I'm delighted we are having a child. My Raven Fox, I love you for who you are. Human or not- human has nothing to do with it. I LOVE YOU, RAVEN FOX.

“Of all those in the world, you are unique, and you love me. Do you know that is a gift more precious than any other? Raven Fox, you have given me yourself - a true treasure, and now you present me another gift: a precious child. Truly, I am blessed.”

Erik kept his hand on Fox's belly. Tears in his eyes for the wonder of life.

She could not help but be truly touched by his words she was beyond happy it was nice. "I bought a test to check if I was pregnant. Didn't tell you in case it was a false positive since it happens. But I think this was meant to be Erik and its a good thing your fluent in English" she said smiling and kissed him deeply.

Erik was relaxed and happy. His life had been turned upside down, but with his precious Raven Fox, it didn't matter. Knowing that their child had a special gift, made him rejoice. He and Raven Fox had been given this gift of a child, and he was over the moon.

Erik rubbed Fox's belly and said, “Sleep in peace little one, sleep in peace.”
