Maine on lockdown: Deplorable kills 18

But but we've ALWAYS had teh Second Amendment!
Hint: Amendments don't change, but technology does
The Founding Fathers knew this. This is why they said "Right to bear ARMS", not "guns" or "muskets". They didn't specify weapon types because they knew the obvious fact weapons change/get better over time.

That's why Freedom of the Press still applies to things like the internet and communications technology, even though they couldn't even begin to fathom that when they created the law.

Because they foresaw that weapons could change means that weapons could also be well regulated? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

As far back as January, Card's mental health had started to decline, his family said. By May it was getting even worse, and they were concerned for his well-being.

Before last week's mass shooting in Maine that left 18 dead and 13 wounded, the U.S. Army says suspect Robert Card's commander was told he should not have a weapon.

Nobody acted.

How much will it cost the innocent taxpayers?

Increasingly unstable behavior doesn't mean that somebody is going to become a serial killer. In most people, it won't come to that.

He broke at least half a dozen laws that day. Do you really think a couple more would have stopped him?
Of course not. He was a White Guy with a Gun and a Grudge, exercising his enshrined right to massacre civilians as he saw fit. He knew he could count of Second Amendment absolutists such as yourself for backup.

BTW: He was a registered Democrat and NOT and NRA member.
I'm sure this comes as a great comfort to the families of the massacred store employees.
