ARE these Muslims actively trying to impose their strict, Sharia-Law social codes on the rest of Britain? Passing laws banning women from walking along the street without a veil, pushing for stoning gays and adulterers to death, or banning popular secular music, and so on? If so, it is completely understandable why the natives would be upset.
Something tells me, however, this is not the case.
Are there religious groups here in America trying to impose their strict, Christian Sharia-Law social codes on the rest of America? Passing laws banning pregnant women from seeking health care, pushing for criminalization of gays, trying to abolish women's right to vote?
Why yes; yes there are, as a matter of fact. And yes, there needs to be a protest against these groups here in America.
