Make Me Purr

Yep. My hair. My body. I enjoy treating myself as a giant art experiment. Hair is the easiest to change over and over... But I like using piercings and tattoos for the same purpose. They are just more permament and costly.

That's true: as you say, your body. I have to say that I have neither tattoo nor piercing. Just too permanent for me if I change my mind, although I might one day get a temporary tatt.

And on the subject of tattoos: the old jokes are as bad as they ever were

Piercings are not very permament, until you get to the larger gauges. I forget at what point you can stop expecting the hole to shrink down and close up... I want to say 8g or maybe 6g... *thinks* I will just go check. Ah, ok. It is generally accepted that a 2g is "the point of no return". Most my holes are much smaller. Except my ears, they are at a 0g. For those unfamilar with gauge sizes a 0g is about 5/16" or 8mm.

Tattoos, now, are a bit more permamnet. I have already have one covered up though, so mistakes can be mended.

And I liked that joke... slightly different than other versions of it I have heard.

Art

Here is some more art type stuff...

Like the last one it is a fairly older piece, however, it is one of my all time favorites. I have a acrylic painting of the same "character" that I did which is pretty neat. Unfortunately I forgot to take picture of it...

Here is hubby, framed by me :cathappy:

Now why do I like this one? It's because I'm uncut, as well, and so it's easier to imagine me in such a comforting and comfortable position ;)

I've had a good look at your two artistic pictures: I see you have a trademark in them - the same as your neck tatt. Very clever - shows they're yours, and a good way of keeping copyright!

At first I wondered if they were ordinary pictures that had been photoshopped, but I for one don't have suitable or similar filters or add-ins. So, they are actual paintings, I guess? Very nice - and what are the dimensions?

Hope you post some more - or perhaps they could go into a different thread?
