I've just honestly never thought sex is sin. In my opinion, traditional religions slapped the dogma of sin onto sexuality to gain control over pagans. And it was a way for a male-led belief structure to rein in female sexuality. Most earth-based religions were either female led or equal between the genders.

I don't have any sense of guilt over my sexuality. I don't feel guilty for sleeping with married men because I think the concept of monogamy is ridiculous in the first place.

To me sin is deliberately doing harm to another or to the earth. This would be a far better planet if people worried about THAT kind of sin, and just fucked whoever and however they want.

I actually agree with you totally on that point, Brat...my earlier comment was more tongue in cheek than anything else. *chuckles*

Being a fan of comedy, and certain comedians, I often hear them speak of religion, because it is a controversial topic, and shock value works well for them. George Carlin once made a comment in one of his comedy sketches, that most religion was nothing more than a form of mind control (whether good intentioned or not) in order to impose their own particular views on society. I've always thought that to be somewhat astute, and actually quite accurate.

To my opinion, it has always made more sense that using your own common sense and morality as a guide for your own actions is much more effective of a method than going by social norms or by some religious text. Granted, everyone is different in what they choose to view as right or wrong, but in that scenario, I would tend more towards a "live and let live" policy, as long as what is being done isn't harmful to others.

I know the thread is about and pertaining to Married men. I have looked and not found a thread about Married Women. So that said, and in keeping with the theme of the thread, married guys, other than your spouse, would you prefer to have a sexual relationship with a married woman or single woman. And to be a bit off center of the thread, ladies, are you here to "hook up" with a married guy or is it a fantasy?
