The Thing

I watch as Rogue takes care of the Morlocks, and take point watching out as Beast begins opening the door.

 

[LAVA GODDESSS]

Elektra. Storm.

(ooc. Wheres all you be? come on now...I leave for three days and I get this? sheesh...)

STORM:

I walked briskly over towards Remy and the others. "This has gone too far."

Within moments, helicopters were above us, the secret service, FBI, as well as the police were quickly alerted of the disturbances and have seemed to have found our whereabouts.


We were surrounded on all sides, literally, the sky was full of helicopters, it almost was as if this was a set up. There was no way out. The sky was covered with them.

The booming voice over a megaphone filled our ears, THe sound coming from the left of us, the helicopter old in style and obviously not up to date"This is the POLICE. Hands over your heads and back away from each other. You are under arrest." Surrounding them, were helicopters of the same style, armed and ready.

Another voice filled the air when he was finished, a female voice boomed. "DROP ANY WEAPONS. THIS IS THE FBI. You have two minutes starting....now...to surrender yourselves, you are being taken in for observation and containment." Surrounding her were low hovering helicopters, sleek and black, armed to the teeth, radar scopes and all. They were so close I could read the FBI in red letters against their protective bullet proof vests.

"This is the secret service. We have been commanded in order to protect the president to contain you in any manner possible. LET ME REPEAT. YOu are surrounded by the Secret Service, we have been commanded by the people's United States President to bring you in for his safety. You have no other options."

As the clicking off of the megaphone reverberated through the air. FBI agents crawled over the side of the building, their sleek ropes and dark clothing, the were armed with snipers. Guns were all aimed on us.



Wolverine growled, I heard the claws begin to slowly shred through his hands. WOlverine growled again, hebegan to lash out. I grabbed for his arm before he did anything stupid. I did something stupid, I had grabbed too quickly. I had caught my arm on his razor sharp claws. "By Zeus..." I gasped. I looked up, the blood draining from my arm, the cut deep. The color drained from my face. "So...so sorry Wolv...."

The police had the spot light on us. "PUT YOUR HANDS UP."

A sniper had it's target locked on each and every one of us.

"The first one to move gets shot. YOu have had your warning. HANDS UP."

(OOC> How is that for drama?!? HM? No, you can't just take all the planes down. They have dozens locked on you, as well as ground snipers....ya know...be creative. Trust me, this may take a bit to get out of...and as for Storm, she has been too high and mighty, she needs some humbling and some TLC)

ELEKTRA:

"You are so warm, so sexy....so incredibly irresistable..." I moaned into his ear. I took his hand, I placed it on the zipper on the side of my uniform.

Taking my lips to his, I sucked gently on his lower lip. I held a hand to his muscular chest, I awaited for him to undress me, while I made love to his mouth.

 

[Isolde]

She Hulk

As soon as her senses returned to her, Jennifer found that she was boiling mad. Nodding to Joseph that she was fine, if on the peeved side, she said,"Thanks for the save. I have a tendency to leap before I look at times."

Striding forward again, if a bit more carefully this time, she looks around the room they were in. The sight that greeted her caused her to pause a moment in puzzlement and then her brows to furrow.

The first thing to command attention was a statue that stood in the room but seemed to be of no consequence. The next thing that she spied was the two very powerful men that were laying on the floor and hooked up to a monitor by some collar device. She recognized both of them...any mutant would. They were Proffessor Charles Xavier and Magneto.

Moving further into the room, she bent down by the two men and examined them for signs of life. Fortunately she could see that they were alive..simply unconscious. With little thought, she put her hands on the collar of Professor X and ripped it from his neck. Turning, she did the same with Magneto's.

Not waiting for them to wake up or for another security device to go into action, she picked up both men and slung them over her shoulders, turning and preparing to exit the building with all due haste.

 

[Neale]

The Watcher

As the two mutant leaders slowly regained consciousness, all four people were teleported into a large chamber, where they saw a giant, bald humanoid with a HUGE head. She Hulk immediately recognized him from Avengers files: Uatu, The Watcher, one of the most powerful beings in the universe, dedicated solely to observing the growing metahuman presence on Earth. Only rarely had he ever broken his tradition of non-interference.

"You are Erik Lensherr Magnus, Charles Xavier, Jennifer Walters, and a clone of Magnus, known as Joseph. You are not welcome in my home. However, as the Skrull are to blame, you will not be punished. Begone now!"

Instantly, the group of metahumans vanished and reappeared outside Avengers Mansion, next to the heroes who had been defending it.

Joseph

After the Watcher tells it not our fault we appear. In what appear to be a battle feild. I noticed storm on the ground bleeding. If I did no somthing fast she would die. I looked at Rogue. "When I say now you take her in the Avengers Mansion."I put my hands up.Using my powers i disarmed all the agents and snipers. I lifted all the agents and pilots up."Rouge take her now""I hit all the agents with an emp. I started toward the Statue of Liberty. When i got them there i dropped them off and head back"


Sinster

"Bullseye before we get Elektra. I want to intruduce you to your new partners.You may know some of them already.But for the one you don't know.They are Silver Samurai, Deadpool,Juggernaut,Hobgoblin. You will all be working togthere and if any of you have a problem with this. Let me know and i will get rid of the problem."

She Hulk

Jennifer looked around and her eyes opened wide. Man, take a little nap and look what happens. Spotting several of the X men as well as her old friend Ben Grimm, she looked around for a place to put the proffessor. Magneto was no problem, she simply set him down and let him gain his own feet but she knew the Proffessor was not going to be doing too good without his wheelchair.

Spotting the downed hovercraft, she smiled and, with one bound, was over there placing Professor Xavier into the drivers seat. "Not much, Prof," She said with a smile,"But it will have to do."

Not waiting for him to answer, she sped over to where Ben was standing and said,"Ben, what in the world is going on here. No, check that, tell me after we take care of the situation." She didnt know what was going on but she did know that the people being threatened were the good guys and she was going to lend a hand.

She saw the one that called himself Joseph pick up the helicopters and take off with them. All the guns were gone too, stripped from their owners. "Oh, come on now," she said as she looked on the unarmed men,"I get dropped off in the middle of a party and now I cant play!"

 

[Isolde]

Rogue

OOC: Beast is gone for a week. I talked to him before he went. I dont think he will mind if I use his char this one time.

IC: Rogue knelt by Storm and used pressure to stop her wounds from bleeding. Picking the woman up, she looked over the side of the building where Beast had manuvered down to the door with several gymnastic flips and spins and was now using his card to open the door.

"Here goes," She said as she flew up and into the door as soon as Beast had it open, not waiting for the others. Manuevering around the hallways, she found the infirmary and quickly got Storm settled in. Taking bandages, she started applying first aide and wishing the Jean were here to take care of this.

 

[Neale]

Magneto

Professor X, being somewhat physically frail, was still unconscious, but Magneto was rapidly regaining consciousness. He looked around as SheHulk carried him and the Professor inside. Once inside, he stood, shakily, and addressed the heroes, "What is the meaning of this? Why are there dozens of what I presume to be Morlocks lying around unconscious outside this place, which I assume to be the Avengers Mansion?"

It was as the zipper was halfway down her slender body that Spiderman's conscious finally came back to him. It was like a slap in the head. He paused, looking at her.
What was he about to do?
There was no choice, was there? Die or have sex. Not that he really needed to choose, but not like this. Not her way.
He took a step back, letting his webbing fly. He easily caught her up on the side of the bubble.
"This isn't happening, not here, not like this," he walked up to her, kissing her softly.
"I will make love to you, as no man ever, has, but I can't now. There's too many things going on, open the door, please."

Elektra. Storm.

(ooc. Isolde, I sort of wrote that so we all would have tons of obstacles...but beast would of been shot and killed by the time he reached the door. Any way we can work around that? I sort of wanted it to get us all together and fight. and pooh...you challenge me....)


ELEKTRA:

I dropped away from him. Hastily I drew up my zipper. I stepped back. My eyes almost as if tears were welling in them, I blinked it away.

Angrily, I took the last sai from my belt and hurled it as hard as I could at the bubble. The thick plastic made a spine chilling noise as it was pierced by the metal. It stuck in the bubble, the bubble sealed around it.

I didn't say a word. I looked at him, his face set in stone. Then I leaned against the bubble, I closed my eyes.

I had contacted the President as well as Kingpin about my capture. To release him meant my death. That was the rules, I had never broken them.

I kept my eyes closed, willing the situation away.

 

[Ravenloft]

Bullseye:

"Deadpool? Did you just say Deadpool? I used to... Compete for kills with that guy! He was alright, a little insane maybe, but, hey, who isn't?! So, lets go get him!" Bullseye said with a fair amount of exheuberance. "Oh... Uh. Hey! Deadpool! You fucking shit! How have you been?!" Bullseye added as he heard people milling behind him.

Deadpool:

"What the hell!?" Deadpool nearly shouted as he was about to slit his newest marks throat. He heard Bullseye talking about him just then. He listened. It was so nice when his work was apreciated. Few could actually apreciate a cold blooded killers works... But every now and then, you met a... Kinddred soul. As much of a pain in the ass they could be... "Well, you fucking asshole! Good to see you again! ...Not really, but you know what I mean." He joked. The two rushed over to a corner to catch up on old times, check the tally of victems and play dick swinging games like psycho killers do... you know... "Well, I killed the ambasador of suchandsuchwhatthefuckever! Its fun!

Silver Samurai:

Standing off, Silver Samurai just scowled behind his steel mask. He knew that a being that could summon him in such a manner was no one to question, but he had matters of his own to deal with. He would speak to this... Interuption at the first opportune time. He could not be trifled with petty games... Wether they were played by gods or not...

OOC: Lava..I am only following the words of our great GM and leader Neale. He has plans beyond the Secret Service and Joseph took care of all the guns and stuff before Beast got to the door so that we can get into the building...again with Neale's approval.

"Ok, wait. Maybe we got off on the wrong foot," he could see the desperation in his eyes, "Look. I can't exactly perform when the world is in danger, you know how we superheros are. I am sure you've been around enough."
Spiderman stopped, and looked at the sai.
"Perhaps that came out wrong, what I mean to say is that. I'm a guy, your a girl. How about dinner tonight? I make a great lasagne. Listen, Elektra, please don't do this. The world is going to end, can't we just savor the moment and go on with our lives?"
Her face was as cold as stone. It was like he had just hit the exact wrong button. He could be a real jerk when he wanted to... this was one of those times.
"Ok, ok," he gave up, "Fine. I don't want you to be angry at me. You can kill me, you can sell me to the highest bidder, but please don't be angry at me. I will do it."
He started to take off the lower part of his suit.

Mister Sinister

"I guess all of you would like to know why you are here. I have chosen the 6 of you . We have one more member to come . But I have chosen you because of your greed. Your greed for will make you do anything. I can promise you if you follow me you will have wealth beyond any of your dreams combined.With the new itme I have just attained we will rule the world . Then anything you wnat will be your.But there are a few thing that could hidder that great future. They are people that think you should stay broke. They are the X-Men, Avngers, Fantastic Four, and other fouls who think we are wrong. First we will take over the world. While they are fighting the Aliens we will be get ready. For when they are done we will rule the world.Then we destroy them.But be warned. If any of you try and challange me . I will send to a place that makes hell look like a dream. "

Beast:

"The authorities will soon be all over the place, with forces prepared to deal with Magneto and/or Joseph's abilities... Perhaps we could use the tunnels under the mansion to make our escape, while we regroup and decide upon our next plan of action?"

Bullseye:

Stopping his catch up chat with Deadpool, Bullseye listened to Sinister rant. He had to smile. Sure, money he wanted, but world domination? Nah, not really... Let the goodie goodies play that game if they wanted, all he wanted really was a nice place in the bahamas he could go to when he was too old for the biz.


Deadpool:

Deadpool stifled a laugh. "World domination. Eheh!" He slipped, he couldn't help it, this guy was rather funny actually. Wait... He wasn't trying to joke was he? "What a loon..." He said under his breath as he listened right along side Bullseye.


Silver Samurai:

"And how do you intend to inact your world domination plans?" SS said as he stepped forward, his hand on the hilt of his katana.

[Angelus]

Gambit looked around the mansion and wondered what the hell had happened. It was then that he heard the sirens and thought that it was not a good thing to be here right now. He looked around for an escape route and wondered where everyone had gone. In the confusion of the battle he had lost touch with them. He looked down at his comm and was about to activate it but when he saw that it was broken he cursed. He stood there and looked around for a way to get out of here but before he could he heard several footsteps behind him and turned just to see a cop standing there, a gun in his hand. Gambit looked at him with a smile and went to move but before he could the cop fired, the bullet hitting Gambit in the chest.

Joseph

After dropping the FBI agents off . I rushed back to the Avengers Mansion. As i walked in Beast was talking about going under ground."Beast I took there communcators and disabled the faires. So we have a little bit of time before they know what has happen. Buit what ever we do we need to do it fast.We need to find a place that no on knows of."


Sinster

" I know most of you have no care to rule the world it's. So what i will do is give one hundred billion dollas in gold.After i have taken over the world.Silver Samurai you wanna know how i plain on taking over well . Less just say i have in my somthing that will allow us to take over and t the same time . No will be aware there is anything going wrong.I have found te location of Elecktra. After she is done having her fun. I want Deadpool and Bullseye to go and recruit her.But untill the we will let her have fun."

OOC: Very sorry everybody that I couldn't post during my leave, very sorry. Also thank you to 'Meel for saying I get to choose, I just read a book all about the X-Men.

IC: As Joseph asked, Beast started thinking of any place in the surrounding area. His eyes lit up as he figured out a great place, he just hoped that it was still standing. "Everybody, lets get going, we are traveling to the Hellfire club. It is only five blocks away from here. I suggest that we move poste haste."

"Computer, open."

With that, the bubble lifted. "You are free to go. I can guarantee..." I closed my eyes, reveling in what sort of twisted punishment I was going to be inflicted with before they killed me. " you won't ever see me again."

"Grrrrrrr, what the hell is wrong with you people? Why are we running and hiding instead of finding these Skrulls, and kicking their asses? It isn't like we haven't been in similar situations, is everyone going soft on me? I remember in the day, a group of five or six X-Men could take on the world. Now I look at a room full of heroes on the run, come on people get a fucking grip we can get by the humans, and expose these Skrulls for the manipulative pieces of shit they are, and return things to normal, and hopefully improve our standing in the world after it is all said and done." I say, my voice snarling as I speak. "Now I will go on my own if I have to, is anyone brave enough to be a real hero? Look at Storm, look at how many times she has been hurt in this mission, and then there is Gambit, while I was listening to and following you guys he gets a bullet to the chest and it got me thinking. We aren't the same people we were when we got into this buisness, time has taken it's toll on us and we need to get back to basics. Which means kick ass now, and take names later. Now if you will excuse me, there are aliens that want to take over our world, and I don't feel like running from the humans while it happens. Sure we need to avoid hurting them, but if we stay on the run we will NEVER save the world this time, and it might be the most important time to do it." I stand there in silence, waiting for the groups reaction.

Ae stood the listening to wolverine, understanding his feelings, but at the same time knowing that this plan would get them killed. "Wolverine, I understand how you feel, but if we rush out there, we would be committing suicide. Sometimes in battle you must lose in order to win. If we go out there now, they will have the upper hand, but if we can retreat and come up with a plan, we can win. With the Professor, Magneto, and Joseph up to full strength, there will be almost nothing that can stop us. I hope you agree with me, as this is the plan we are taking, unless you have something different to say Professor." He paused, waiting for everybody to decide for themselves. "In any case, we must act quickly, I don't think it will take them long to get in here."

Spiderman quickly webbed to the front door. Freedom, he had to go help them, had to find Sotrm and the others. Possibly save the universe, he could even get a medal. He had never gotten a medal before.
He glanced back at her. There was something wrong. She seemed sad almost. Come on, he obviously wasn't the first guy who turned her down. With that body though, he didn't think it was often. He didn't want to turn her down, it was just the world and death and all of that.
They were going to hurt her. Whoever she had promised to deliver him in, they would kill her. Most likely the Kingpin, he was the only person who would want Spiderman enough to pay millions for him.
Jameson wanted him bad as well, but he didn't have the money.
Kingpin didn't like it when people didn't deliver. She would most certainly die. She wasn't that bad, maybe a little too free spirited, but not bad at all.
He walked back towards her, not trying to sneak up on her or anything, just simply walking back.
"Listen, I think we got off on the wrong foot. Hi, my name's Spiderman, nice to meet you."
Even he didn't think that was funny.
"Look, I didn't want to hurt you. I still don't, I've just never exactly done this..." he pointed at the bubble,"And... umm, I'm sort of newwith how superhero's deal with this sort of thing."
Could he be any more stupid?
"I apologize, for everything. I didn't want you to get into any trouble over me. I didn't think you would."

Deadpool and Bullseye:

Just giving each other a knowing smile, the two made ready to go on their mission. "Okay then... Boss." Deadpool said, barely holding back a laugh. "Send us on our way then and we will have her back post haste..."

Silver Samurai:

Standing off to wait for things to fall into place, SS clenched an imatient hand on the hilt of his katana.
