Well, I haven't been able to flood this thread with my usual pithy comments as often as I'd like...but by way of an explanation, I have a small personal announcement about my Real Life persona...

My wife recently delivered the latest two additions to the Roman household--twins! One boy and one girl--born a bit premature, but everyone (including their mom) is healthy, thriving...and dealing with various sleep interruptions! So, clearly, there's more than enough of my genes floating around the global gene pool now...

Anyhow--hope you don't mind if I take a dip in the hot tub--and maybe take a nap!

Hope you all had a great Valentine's Day...and enjoy that snow!

Roman

OMG! ROMAN that is so wonderful!...you just bring me & Beth Anne those Babies, right now!..Let you & mama take a good long nap...We'll watch 'em for you!

CONGRATS Darlin'

(Btw, I'll lay off screaming your name for awhile...don't wanna wake the babies)

Boy do I have a headache.... I was laughing so hard at Roberto Benini in The Son of the Pink Pather. That man is SO Awesome. Definiatly one of the best actors in the world.

Anyway, I did something kind of big today, I had my hair cut. My hair was long, down past my neck but I knew it was time for a change. I had to clean myself up a bit because the 'real' world is creeping up on me and I had to look more 'professional', whatever I don't think my hair should matter but some people are judgemental dicks. But I actually like it now because its still a little long but in a more controlled way, about halfway down my neck, and probably more stylish. I still look like a Columbian drug lord, but a more stylish Columbian drug lord Haha
oh MoZ! you are so handsome long hair or not!...c'mere sweetie, I'll scoot over...sit right here, between me & Beth Anne...let us get a better look at ya darlin....I need a good hug anyway...and you give the best ones!

Congrats Roman! I'm sure your hands are full now.

Hope everyone is being safe in this snow. Its not that bad where I'm at, so far.

Its 2am so I'm sure pretty much everyone is tucked away. Sleep well folks.

Wow its late

Man I wonder what I am doing up at this hour... I was so bored too and then I started watching "The Battle of the Bulge" on the History channel (I'm a big history/military buff).... Interestingly enough, I thought it was a very appropriate movie title for this evening considering my position between Feisty and BethAnne in the tub ;) Haha.....

snow

Just got back from clubbing. YEs! I insanly went out tonight! It's now snowing like MAD! I was driving in 1-2" of snow all the way back from Rosslyn. What a rush! My leg was twitching from the adrenaline. I almost ran off the road twice! But no one else was out there so there was nothing to hit...I guess that could be considered safe!! Hmmm... If anyone else is out there, I hope they arrive home safe. Good day to all others.. Now, off to the hot tub with lovely BethAnne! Perhaps there, I'll get to know her a little better.

Still awake

I see there's snow outside... Mmm, its been So long since I've seen that.... Anyway, welcome mtnbkr, not sure if I've seen you in these parts before but Welcome!

mmmmm...what have we here????? Someone I've not met before???? Well then step right into the tub and sit just here...next to me...and tell me all about yourself! Just speak softly...the twins are sleeping and if you wake them Red and I will be preoccupied getting them to sleep again! It's Roman's day off you see...he needs to rest! But no that's fine...you have a quiet, soothing voice...so do tell...all about you!

The snow is really coming down here this morning, looks as if the weathermen may be right for a change...Hope everyone is warm. I just got up a little bit ago...boy was I surprised esp since I went to bed thinking it wouldn't start again until 10 this morning.
Wouldn't this be a great day to have our little party?? All of us getting snowed in together and getting to know each other so well...hell I can think of a few that I'd love to get to know better!...:p
Okay off in search of that coffee...be back later...

Holy shit! They're talking anywhere from 18-24 inches in our area and a possibility to break the record of 28! Good god. I hope everyone is smart and stays inside. I already got a call from a friend who went out in his SUV and said it was hell. And that was an hour ago. Nothing like its going to be a few hours from now.

Damn, be safe people.
Hope everyone went food shopping.

Roman! Congratulations! That is wonderful news! I'm glad to hear that they are doing well, despite their premature status. You're a man blessed by God. I bet you and your wife could both use a nap. We won't wonder if you're not here with us very often. Go enjoy the babies! How cool!

The bed of my truck is filled and it's up to the bumper of my neighbor's Honda Civic. This might be something else. I remember when I was in HS, in the late 70's, we got a really huge snowstorm that was probably 20-some inches. The last I remember before that was when I was 8 or 9. I've lived in the DC area since 1964. Anybody else remember any big storms growing up around here?

Stay safe and warm,

WG

i grew up here - many many years ago - LOL - this storm seems like it will rival the worst of them

i think the last really bad storm was about 8 or 10 years ago - i remember trying to dig my car out - i think we had over 2 feet of snow

then i remember a really bad storm - probably in the 80s - that was really really bad - everything/body was immoblized for a few days

i also remember one in the early 70s that was equally as bad - i was at my grandmother's house in baltimore and i think i was there for almost a week before i could get home

hello to everyone - aaahman, roman, bethanne, moz, feisty, wg, kyle, pictakrinmd, mtnbkr - every stay safe and warm

hope you all are doing the things you love today - take care ~

p.s. bethanne - keep that temp in the tub up - it's cold outside

Oh...see...now she comes out!!!
I usually go to Dover and Pocono...but want to do Richmond too...and wouldn't I just LOVE to go to Daytona???!!!

Funny about the cars...the only thing that keeps Jeff from being absolutely perfection on 2 feet is that he drives a chevy! I am soooooooooooo a Dodge woman!! (Mopar Rules!!!) So I'm almost always happy when a Dodge wins...or Jeff, of course, and I've been pulling for Rusty to end his winless streak...the poor dear...it has to be psychologically difficult!

And Red...don't you just love those commercials??? I love all of the UPS stuff with Dale Jarrett...so funny! And the NASCAR ones with the family and the dad changing the tire swing...or putting the badminton net in the car window??? :)
And at the race the smell of the rubber and the sound of the engines...
Oh wow...excuse me...I have to go change my panties again!!!
