Is anyone else having problems posting pics?
seems to have been "out of order" for quite some time now -
i think it lets people post a single pic every once in a while ~

thanks, Princess. Sorry, if my rabid hatred of Kevin Spacey caught you offguard. "Kill my landlord. Kill my landlord. C-I-L-L." LOL. I hope you had a nice time anyway.

Yes I had a pretty good weekend. Can't wait for the weather to get a little warmer though so I can do some outdoor activities. :D

I want to see that movie too, but have no desire to see Kevin Spacey in his tighty whities or any other form of undergarments for that matter.

Hi Maryland!

How is everyone this rabidly cold evening???

The movie was long as shit. I mean killer long. God, they had an intermission! I didn't think it was as good as Gettysburg. It was stil good, and I'm sure it will win tons of awards, BUT! The length was tough.

So you guys have a good week...I'll be around...come spend some time in the tub with me...

TWO GREAT FRIENDS

wow! thanx WG and TSN

for leaving all of kevin spacey for me -

yum!!!!!!! :D

Trust me, he is all yours. :p
the scene i was talking about lasts less than a minute
so i'm sure you can close your eyes during that part - k???

there is really quite an interesting concept around which the story ends up being woven - if you like mystery/suspense, you will probably enjoy it - some people will see it as a statement against the death penalty - but to me it's just a movie, not a statement and it sure didn't change my view on the death penalty - which i think takes too damn long to enforce

Oh I'm sure I'd like it and no I wouldn't let a little guy nudity or whatever it is stop me from seeing a good movie.

"gods and generals" is not for me - not just the length -
it's the subject matter - not a history fan at all

(might have seen it if kevin spacey was in it - LOL)

Well...it was interesting...lots of action...but just too long.
Oh well...it's over now...but I thought my poor kid would never make it! Do not take an 11 year old to see a movie that long!!!!

Well, just don't dangle him over the balcony. I hope you're doing well and are able to catch some sleep. Don't become a salaryman and drop dead in the street from overwork!

Nah, I'm quite the antithesis of the traditional salaryman--much to the disappointment of my Japanese co-workers! Thanks for the thoughts!

I'll throw my movie 2 cents in, DareDevil's pretty cool if you like action movies and Really Hot women like Jennifer Garner!! DAMN :D !!! I like movies based on comics in general, I find it interesting that the heroic figures depicted in them have the same human qualities that normal people do and battle the same internal demons even though they often posses superhuman gifts that cause them to appear better than 'normal' people. I think it emphasizes how truly human hero's really are and therefore how hero's are really no different then you or I. Anyone can be a hero....

On behalf of all of the women in **Maryland** I say thanks Jack! We really can't ever be told that we are beautiful often enough..***** has a way of beating the beauty out of us...at least it feels that way sometimes!

I know I personally thank God for each of the friends I've made here at Lit who seem to be intent on helping me rediscover my value as a person and my intrinsic beauty! You and Roman, Kyle, Shawn, Deb, WG, Princess, DiamondJim, ManofSteel, DrHike, Otter, Big4life99, longstrokes31, Dave 2223, Studdog, Sirhugs, and many others too! There are some who don't choose to post like Venki77 and Johnmsc, but I'm still grateful for your friendship. I am so blessed to receive the friendship and unconditional love that you offer. I am challenged to always return that same friendship and unconditional love. Thank you.

Just being mentioned in such auspicious company is an honor--after all, I just post and chat, it ain't like I've found a cure for cancer or something...:D

Love ya, and much good cheer to all fellow Marylanders (even virtual ones, FeistyRed!)

WHOOOHOOOOO RACE!!!!Rusty is 8th....God I wish he would win a race!..Anyway Beth...Gods & Generals is a great movie, esp if you like the civil war....I saw it last night.

Jack my darlin, I have missed you the last couple of days.

The Civil War was an interesting time in American history. Just goes to show how truly unique America is that even after such a bloody war and such deep differences we were still able to preserve our Union. What I think will keep this country in existence for hundreds and hundreds of years is its ability to change and meet the needs of each unique period in its history. Granted the transitions have never been smooth but change has come when its been necessary. Our country and its people really are something to be admired. Anyway, history has always been one of my biggest interest, especially military history, so I think I'll probably check it out (plus I love action movies!)
