Back problems are really a pain in the...ummm, well, you know what I mean! Hope that it's not something chronic. At least the weather is adequate incentive to stay inside and get better, eh?

Thanx for the hope but unfortunately it is. I need surgery, two bulged discs, one torn and a pinched nerve. I am however hopeful that I can have it done before summer time.

Gotta love how well the VA takes care of it's people once they are out.

Sheesh, with all the folks mentioning me on this thread, you'd think that I'd been on a vacation to Ouagodougo, or maybe Timbuktu, instead of just being a bit preoccupied with these small household things! Glad to see that everyone seems to be enjoying the company and the weather at least!

Oh, and FiestyRed...being a grandparent at least is not the end of the world...perhaps a case where it's better to be one a bit early than never at all! And for you and BethAnne, I'd like to apologize on behalf of my entire gender--I don't know all the details, but somehow we always manage to do SOMETHING wrong

"One bite at a time"!

So that's what I'm trying to do...
have to make things better, change what needs to be changed, but need to take small steps...baby steps...and just tackle one bite of the f*****g elephant at a time!

I'm doing ok with the small steps...so far!
Just keep me in your prayers, or at least think happy thoughts...my biggest goal is to get through this day...sometimes I have to downsize the goal and ask for strength to get through the hour!

thoughts and prayers, ears to listen to me, strong arms to hug me, and broad shoulders for crying on...that's all I ask right now!

but how would I go about the pro-rating? I did my federal, easy peasy, and I've got 7 W2s and 4 1099s, and I'm no slouch.. but this seems outside the MD tax forms little boxy world view of how people live.

I should be happy, at least I'm not filing DC & MD this year!

Wow, not only do I get tax tax tax up the wazzu in class now its on Lit of all places!! Ahhh, I can't escape it! I'm living in a twilight zone! Haha

Sounds like people have been having a good time around here, Waves and Princess are working hard to get The Man his money which is cool, as a soon to be Accountant I whole heartedly endorse taxes Haha, keeps me in business among other things ...
