Spent a good part of the day, McKenna, grading research papers and preparing a review for my 7th graders. I'm going to have a science Bee, using all the questions they'll see on their final. I'm bribing them with giant snicker bars for the winner to get them to pay attention.

A bit on the serious side here, I am really amazed and flattered to be remembered and missed by so many. It does a heart good, it really does. I'm pleased to see familiar faces, and I hear the "fresh meat" around here really livens the place up. I miss seeing Perdita's face, but am lucky enough to hear from her occasionally via other venues. There are others I'd mention, but I'd invariably forget someone and I've no wish to hurt anyone's feelings. So I'll just say "thank you" AH for the warm welcome and the well wishes. You've helped remind me of the spirit of this place, and I'm grateful.


Now then....

Subo, it sounds like you're happy and fulfilled, and it's SO good to see! Snickers bars are my favorite, you know... I'd do about anything for a Snickers bar.

Rumple- Ye auld curmudgeon! I've missed your pithy remarks and serious wit. Thanks for the well wishes!
