I think the user name and avatar reveal a lot about the person behind them.

How it worked for me:

- I produce videos amongst other media stuff
- my mind works visually
- So it was descriptive of what I do but hopefully left other concepts hanging around - open to the viewer
- then my image was a visual image of me - that made me feel good about myself (as far as that goes!) and again I hope it appealed to those that view it (on a forum of a sexual nature)

So for me it reveals something of the person but leaves lots of other stuff to be revealed.

I put a fairy amount of thought into my user name. I created it when I was married and it represented my desire to find some... more. Something to enhance and complement my existing relationship. Obviously, the name wasn't overly original, so I added a number that has some meaning to me.

I'm no longer married, but I'm still seeking.

I take a lot of time deciding just the right user name to tell a little about myself...I'm curious...does anyone else dedicate this much time to such a simple thing? What is the meaning behind yours?
