Start with wooden clothespins. Clamp it onto your hand. The area of the palm between the thumb and pointer finger. That’s what it will feel like on a nipple.
If it’s too intense, you can loosen it up. Clamp it onto something like a thin paperback book, magazine, piece of wood, etc. Leave it there for a few days. Try again. If it’s still too intense, clamp it onto something thicker.
Just check them before each use. They will wear out. If they’re not lining up properly, toss them. Crooked ones can hurt, especially when you take them off.
Plastic clothespins can’t be loosened like that. The strength varies. Mostly I find them to pretty weak, but they’re also not consistent in strength.
I can’t say much about real nipple clamps. The few that I tried were a joke. They either broke right away or fell off. I do have big nipples though.
Whatever you use, don’t leave on for over 20 minutes and be sure to massage the nipples after.
