Went commando for years, virtually 100% of the time. Once it made for a surprising moment when I had to go to the clinic at work.

Boxer briefs.
- Briefs have some good control being snug. They can keep the soldier concealed when attention wouldn't be appropriate. But depending on movement (and the size of the warrior), the elastic around the thighs may gap allowing the him to escape down the pants leg. That is an uncomfortable situation walking around with an escaping convict.
- Boxers offer a lot of freedom but that presents problems when in public and the fighter wants some attention. Modesty is a virtue. Save the advertising for the bars at night, but during the day its best to keep the member discreet.
- So boxer briefs are the best combination of the two. Even when hanging down the left, there is still fabric to keep him tucked against the thigh so public areas don't become a sexual harassment zone.

It's been cool in the evenings lately, so my wife loves it when I wear these soft cotton tights. Admittedly they are super comfortable.
