i was afraid someone would ask this. truth of the matter is that i read about this quite a while back and can't remember specifics.

i don't know if there are different types of carcinogens but i get the point of the question. i'll dig up more info and post it here.

don't misinterpret this though... i'm NOT saying that semen causes cancer. i think the point of this information was that semen left in the testicles, urethra or wherever isn't the healthiest.

ok... i found it (rather quickly, i'm surprised).

there was a study done in 2003 that reasoned, if women have a lower chance of getting breast cancer if they breast feed, men may help avoid prostate cancer by ejaculating regularly. essentially, they were thinking that flushing out the ducts had the same benefit in each case.

the biology of it is this (direct quotes)...

"For seminal fluid to be made it has to be concentrated about 600 times," Prof Giles said.

"So semen is a very potent and strong brew of lots of chemicals which, because of their biological reactivity, could be carcinogenic if left to lie around."

statistics were:
