Merry Christmas You Old Building and Loan!
(You have to be a fan of Christmas movies to understand that reference).
I want to wish a Merry Christmas to all my friends of Lit! We are a community, and I want you to know I appreciate you.
My "LifeisGood" profile was deleted this year and I'll continue as TheGoodLife. I'm happy to know I'm still in touch with my friends with the old ID (you know who you are....both of you) and I'm happy that I've made new friends with the new ID (Hey, you! Pay attention! I'm talking to you! ).
Christmas means different things to different people. Whether you look forward to it, or find it a fussy noisy bother, there's no denying it's place in our time.
As I get older, I find it a good time to think of the good, the possible, and enjoying the bask of optimism and hope.
I believe that we have the capacity for grace and elegance. Christmas to me is a time when this feels the most natural, when even if we are not always at our best, we know we are capable of it.
I wish you the peace and joy of Christmas today, tomorrow and all through the coming year. And I'm happy that we'll all be part of the same community as we move through the coming time.
