Microsoft Proposes to Yahoo!

a microfuck rep told me that the public is unable to decide what they need, and microfuck (god) can decide better.
Tell us what you really think, Lisa! :D

This is one of the many reasons my family has stayed loyal to Apple computers even during a time when I was told "Apple is dead, Microsoft won. Give it up!" My brother had a great example of this. He was asking someone about a new computer program they were creating and going to launch soon. They proudly said that it was working beautifully and it was ready to go. He asked, "What about the user interface?" And they said, "Oh, the interface doesn't matter. We can get that done in no time."

 Doesn't matter? "The user interface is everything!" was his reply. He couldn't believe they were going to take all this time making the program work, but none making sure that people could use it. It's funny; we have all this technology to make our lives "easier" and yet so few of the companies putting out this tech seem to give a shit about user interface. Hence, we end up with people not knowing how to set the clock on their recording devices, let alone record something, simply because the user interface is crap. The technology is great, it works...but so few companies give a shit about making sure that using this tech is fun and easy.

He, he.

Well, I am sooooo glad you asked.

I still like talking about the interesting conversation I had with this microfuck guy. It was where we were posting our reviews of Vista after beta testing. Needless to say mine was not favorable.

This guy come in and was saying he was a microfuck rep, some peoples posted that they didn't believe him, so he actually put his real name and credentials in a post. I dunno for sure but I think he was really, because of what I will say at the end.

Anyways, I said how come you threw out all the tried and proven good parts of XP, and he said because Vista is completely new and improved. I said how come I can't dump the parts I don't want, he said the user cannot be trusted to make intelligent decisions like that.

Before I could answer posts started going crazy asking this guy if he was calling everybody stupid and stuff.

The administrator of that site PM'ed me to say this jerk actually tried to tell him to delete all of my posts.

The admin didn't do it.

:D

Hmmm. Makes me wonder why so many people insist on running a government on 'business principles', ya know? ;)
