Leah, 29year old, ambitious and single, smiled as she got into a cab headed for downtown. Its 10pm, she may be a little late but she had to finish that last drink before meeting up with her girls on a Friday night. It was a long work week. She finished her masters degree in psychology and started only a month ago on her doctorate. She worked at the State college as an apprentice to one of greatest doctors in four counties. She had high hopes of making it that far within the next five years. Leah has already received letters of employment from universities. She has a lot to look forward too. However, tonight was girls night.
Some of Leah's friends were now married, had children, or 2 had moved away. Tonight they were all back together again, All 5 of them, It had only taken 5 years. Leah stepped out of the cab dressed in her tight black dress and heels and into the lights and hustle and bustle of downtown. She had to admit she looked damn good at 5'5" , 125pounds, and an hour glass figure. Long blonde hair and deep green eyes. No one understood why she was still single. Leah did. She has goals. She tried having a few relationships, having a busy schedule made it seemingly impossible, and unfair to her boyfriends. On rare occasions she has gone on select dates with like minded guys, most had seemed boring. She liked strong, big, exciting men. Not the intellectual sort. She hated feeling like it was a battle of minds on dates.
Buildings, businesses, restaurants, bars, stretched out in all directions. Cobblestone sidewalks, street lamps and the glow of neon signs. I walked past them getting some second glances from both the men an women. I wink at those that blatantly stare as I pass them. i can hear the clubs music a block away and there's a line to get in. As i get closer i see my closest friends and wave hurrying to reach them. Hugging them all. We all head into the club together after some laughs and whistles, showing off for each other. i order my drink and hit the dance floor almost immediately.
( please pm for male part )
