Mindless Television

Ok Jade here is my list.....

Full house
any soap operas
Big Brother
Jerry Springer
wrestling

ok you asked and this is just the short list. LOL

I would say wrestling is the most mindless thing on television today, and I say that because I'm such a big fan of it. It's so unreal that you have to like it.

Shows that that aren't amusing to me at all are Everybody Loves Raymond (I don't care what anyone says that show is terrible). Diagnosis Murder (it's like Matlock in a lab coat). Big Brother (what the hell is that show about anyway?)

I've been trying to sort shows into a "needs brain" versus "no brain" format.

The top of the "no brain" list is Hollywood Squares, followed closely by anything with Regis Philbin.

"Needs brain" is headed by Wall Street Week and The West Wing.

No Brainers: McHale's Navy, Charlie's Angels, Flintstones, Beverly Hillbillies and what a surprise, Hollywood decides that each of these was not quite stupid enough for television so they turn them into full movies.

McLaughlin Group is top of the needs brain list, in fact you need three of them since these yappers all talk simultaneously. But Eleanor Clift is so hot, who cares!

Simple! Want to get on my bad side. Then make me watch the following shows.

Teletubbies (someone give me a stick of TNT!!!)
Survivor (excuse me! I think I'm gonna be sick)
The bold & the beautiful (A whole case of TNT please)
The young and the restless (Even MORE TNT)
Santa Barbara (Okay, I've upgraded to Nukes!!)

That's about it. I better stop before I feel the need to nuke my tv set.........

I MISS MAX HEADROOM!!!!!!

That was the cooooolest show. Sledgehammer next after that, I never missed an episode.

OMG I had forgotten about them!
I always laughed my ass off at those two shows.
Does anybody remember the Joe Isuzu commercials?
I loved those, too.
