well a couple things: I have my base picture and then the two I wanna put with the base. See I wanna take the base picture and then shrink the other two pictures and then put them on the base but make them somewhat trasparent,so you can see the base picture under them but you can still make out the picture? After that whole mess I wanna put some writing on it

but I have tried everything I can think of but obviously I am just to dunce to figure it out

Ok < takes a deep breath and begins> on the right hand side you should have a layers menu...

Basically click on the pictures you want to ad to the original with your right mouse button and copy them...then click on the original with your right mouse button and paste as a new layer. That should make them as one but you should still be able to manipulate each layer seperately

Now on the left hand side tool menu you should have a deform tool click on the layers you wish to resize then use that tool to size to what you wish and make it fit

as for the transparency of each layer that is edited on the layers menu - right hand side by sliding the little bars over on the opacity metre

Ok what if I want to cut only a piece out of one of the photos,I don't want the whole thing,how do I select it and then copy and paste it?

You can either resize it before you copy and paste it as a new layer OR you can use the deform tool and just drag the sides down to the size you want...or you crop it down to size. < Sigh > or just show me what images you want and I will do it for you.

I do not really know how else to instruct you I am self taught so do not even know all the names of things I just do...so my best advice is to either look up tutorials on google or to play around as I did an learn. < looks sorry she can not help further >

sorry blade I have told you all I can so if you can not do it you will have to give me the pictures I guess or go without....but alas I can also not swim that far to do it for you < rolls eyes....and then goes back to her book>

I am not ignoring you Minxy and I accept the fact that Fae cannot be "gained by any means or toyed with at the moment" because obviously she is not here,chatting with the rest of us. I can tell shes in no mood and I bet I could understand if you just told me what was going on but thats not relevant right now.

Once I finally finish this picture,which with her help I have pretty much finished, then I might be able to repay her.

reload it, if your lucky your auto save will have been turned on and it will open at some stage that it may have saved. < she states without even looking at him and then adds> If not you will have to start again sorry...and the transparency is adjusted by the opacity slides next to the layer tools on the right hand side.

Ok,so I got the pictures on there but now I think they have already merged before I was able to make them transparent,do I gotta start over again?

I dont know if yours is set up like mine so its hard....i have had psp for YEARS and its been like it is for years so I have no idea if I dragged the tools where they are or not but mine are onthe right under a heading that says LAYERS - as for it being merged unless you can undo merge in the edit menu then ues you have to start over.

Ok I got the pictures all arrayed how I want them,decided I didn't want transparency anyway, I found out though,so thanks, but now I cannot get the text on there....I figure I might as well send you it, unless you wanna explain it to me how to get the right colored text where I want it. I mean I used the text editer thing but it didn't show up and I couldn't set the color

you use the text tool to add text usually best to do it on a new layer so you can move it around - you adjust the colours on the right hand side the foreground and background squares just click them and they will let you pick a colour...make sure the text is highlighted in the text tool box first.
