"A little bit Jim " she said taking a bite of her slice and relaxing against the couch . Her edge was wearing off and the headache had slowly subsided. She was sure she would leave sometime in the middle of night not wanting anyone to catch her leaving his house in the morning and assuming things because she knew just how quickly things travelled in a small town.
She was still shocked at how nice he was being to her after earlier and how she's treated him over the years. They both went to all the same schools , events, and town gatherings but for some odd reason she and him had strayed from the same crowds.
She finished her slice and went for another grabbing his tv remote to turn something on.
