MC is older. His neighbors are a young couple. The husband is abusive. With MC’s help, wife has had enough and presses charges. A couple of days later MC takes neighbor wife to church fair. One of the old ladies complains about how the young would never do the things the wife is accusing him of doing. MC pulls up her shirt enough to show off the bruises. Young husband goes to prison, but is soon killed because he said the wrong thing to a gang member. Young wife has moved in with MC, but they don’t do anything at first. He’s just taking care of her. She finally convinces him they love each other.
