A sad notification to all Momma's friends here on the Lit:
I was sadly informed by her daughter that she passed away on 25th May.
May her sweet soul rest in peace knowing she will always be remembered with love.

THANK YOU MOMMA ROSE FOR YOUR FRIENDSHIP. I know you will be with the ones that you love.

Yes, she has often said.. it was nice to be missed and am sure she's keeping an eye on her favorite thread to see how come to her Kitchen and many miss her presence here..
She became a close and personal friend to me and the news did hit me hard.. for when we last spoke she was in some discomfort but did not seem serous enough to take her away from us..
She will be missed indeed..

For a short while I corresponded with Rose via regular email. Still remember the day I got a response from her that included a photo that she took just for me. (Her idea, not a request from me)

She was just so damn amazing.

I was in touch with her regularly by phone and mail, which is why when she did not pick up her birthday card nor answer several calls, that I grew concerned. Finally her daughter was gracious enough to inform me of the sad news of her mother's passing.. and I felt compelled to share it with her friends with a tribute to her in her very own Kitchen.
