Monetize my stories?

Hello all,

I hope this is the right place to post this topic.

I recently started writing and gained a bit of confidence to continue with it.

However, I was also thinking to monetize my stories, not on LIT.
I am aware that LIT is a completely free platform.

However, it is okay to post my Ko-Fi link for anyone to contribute if they are interested?

Or, if anyone else is aware of any other sites where I can get paid a bit for writing, I am all ears.

And I really hope I did not offend any of the great writers by posting this.
(I really respect all of the writers who put in their time and effort to bring ideas, thoughts and words into stories and give us a visual experience).

I know some of the writers here have ways to make money from their writing. I'm not at that point just yet, but post this question in the Authors' Hangout and you're sure to get some useful advice. And a lot of unhelpful banter too, but there's no extra charge for that.
