So I'll round it up by saying that using black and wight or colour bleeding does not necessarily make a picture artistic (a lot of people make that mistake), although B&W is very good to keep a picture from being too coloured. I think your use of colour was very good in this case; it keeps the eye focused on the form instead of inconsistencies in colouring that happen a lot with non-professional equipment. I'm just mentioning this because you can get some really good pictures with full colour, but it's a lot more tricky.
