I'm looking for movie suggestions. Seen anything good lately?

Actually, no, but I haven't seen much lately (only Pirates 3 in a limited-choice situation). But I really want to rent "Children of Men". From what I've heard, it's great (but dark) and simply got ignored in the holiday-movie onslaught. In theaters, "Once" has been strongly recommended to me (I believe it's an Irish film). Not a movie but, if you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend the Planet Earth series that ran recently on the Discovery Channel. It's out on DVD now and something everyone should see.

I hope you're having a pleasant weekend. I guess I'm kinda late with the movie ideas. I didn't like Children of men at all. It came highly recommended by a friend, I thought it was a good premise, but it just didn't work for me. I watched Deja-vu, didn't really care for that either, I seem to always have a problem with time travel movies. One movie I did kinda enjoy was "Little Children", stars Kate Winslet and Jennifer Connelly among others. Lots of different characters going through their lives, and a few erotic scenes as well.
