Most of you know I will be graduating this coming Dec and will have earned my B.S. Degree in Digital Entertainment and Game Design. Here is a game concept I made up for a 3D modeling contest and here is one of the characters for the game I just finished. The contest was a Space Western Theme. I am glad I made the deadline and that its finished so I can get it off my plate and concentrate on other work.

I liked the way he turned out.

Shooting Star

Character:
Deputy-Bot "DOUBLE RICOCHET"
In this game you are the sherrif assigned to a small solar system on the outter rim of controlled space on a planet called Gaxis. You traveling around keeping the peace, with several small "Deputy Bots" that you can control. There are several versions of Deputy bots each with different abilities.

This Deputy-Bot is called "DOUBLE RICOCHET". Its special ability is it can ricochet his lazer bullets off solid objects.

Character specs:
TRIS = 3632 (bot only)
TEXTURES = Diffused Color/Specular Color/Specular Level

Setting:
Set on a small 360 Turn Table With rock, cactus, and plants with an orangish skyline to depict what the Bot would look like Desert-ish Western Landscape.

They look wonderful RJ . It's exciting to see them build to this point. Reminds me how much work must be involved. The texturing brilliant , dimensional design and movement so fluid. He really is a groovy little character as well. Look forward to seeing more :rose:

I am currently working on a dancing moose....don't ask...lol But I will post up the animation when I get done with him.

I think I am doing it for the pure hystericalness of it as he looks too funny with big clown feet and a pot belly. I am attaching all the bones to the model now so I can make him dance.

I have been working on a development team on a game concept that I thought up. We have been working on it for about a month and half now and we are nearing the end of the development cycle. Our goal was to develop some levels in the unreal tournament gaming engine so that we could create a playable demo of our game concept.

Being that I have so much expereince in web dsign and programming I was asked if I would take on the additional work of creating the website that would help promote and represent our game. I have been working out the design in my head for weeks now and this morning at ^:00 am I work up and like a mad man possessed, I worked fevorishly on it only stopping for food and bathroom breaks...until BAM! I finished it about 10 minutes ago.

I still have to put up the Development Gallery/In-Game Movie/ModelShowcase section, but I have to get things from the other team memebers before I can do that.

Anyways I really like how it came out. I think it will do a good job representing the look and feel of our game and our game team.

Did you think I would forget? Its that time...yes in deedy...its your monday morning sadistic wake up call....for those who are are feeling all calm and relaxed....you have just exxperienced the calm before the storm...
