I remember a Neil Gaiman story many years ago about a pill. It was meant to be an anticancer drug. it cured cancer...by turning you into the other sex.
And of course, people soon start to use it recreationally.
It doesn't really go into intercourse (as far as I remember) but is fascinating regarding how society might change with easy access to almost instant sex changes.
John Varley’s Steel Beach (1992) did this in a profound way that had a huge impact on me.
