Most Annoying...challenge!

well...here's one for you.....

most folks hate it and find it totally annoying. But I was COMPLETELY in love with the singer at that time (I was kid)....but even today...it makes me smile...

You are very brave to admit this. Self awareness is the first step in recovery.

Be polite, liar, and give us the Song title and artist, please!
;)

Robbie Williams. Can't remember the title, but it's something with "Stalker" actually.

I wonder which Mika song you mean, I have to say I like 'em all myself. Big Girls always makes me smile.

KC -Maybe I can do a series . most annoying, most stalkerish, most overly-sentimental etc etc :D

TE -Oh Achy, Breaky Heart. What a classic! *chuckles* I didn't mind that one, either.

Misty -I love that song too *L*

Ms read you made me think of a gem..

"I've got a song that'll get on your nerves, get on your nerves,
I'veogt a song that'll get on your nerves,
get,get, get on your nerves.

I've got a song that'll get on your nerves, get on your nerves,
I'veogt a song that'll get on your nerves,
get,get, get on your nerves

I've got a song that'll get on your nerves, get on your nerves,
I'veogt a song that'll get on your nerves,
get,get, get on your nerves"

The most ammoying song I have ever heard is an old one, 'The Dock of The Bay' by Otis Redding.

It is a whiny complaint about how rough life is and the singer can't cope.

I've just been watching part of the top 50 most annoying songs and sadly I liked most of them :p

However, my most hated song was in today's batch. I find it to be the most annoying pile of un-tuneful tosh ever.

Saturday Night - Whigfield

What is your most abhorred song, pop or other? And to make this writerly, can you write a short piece of fiction including or based on that hated song's lyrics?

And an even bigger challenge -make it sexy!

I'm gonna give it a go, but I don't promise anything. I *shudder* hate that song.

This is a wicked thread, EL!

I've been watching that programme, too... My problem is that occasionally my taste in music gets a bit dodgy, and I've sung along to most of the songs listed

Whigfield... I quite like! :D

At the moment I'm also going through a bit of a Scootch - "Flying the Flag" phase

I'm going to have to think long and hard about this...

It's okay, I sing along to them, too :D

RR -I really like that song :)

*grins* I love it, too.

But i found I loved loads of the songs mentioned on the programme.

Spandau Balet -True
Right Said Fred -I'm too sexy
Sinead Oconnor -Nothing compares 2U
James Blunt- You're Beautiful

Don'tworry, Be happy

Shaggy -Wasn't me.

I  annoying pop songs :p

I watched one of the episodes with one of my friends, and we both loved loads of the songs on there, but most of them had been overplayed. Maybe that's what makes a song annoying?
