Mother/Son idea

It starts off with Mom breaking up the relationship she's been having with her son. They've been lovers for several months, and everything has been going great, but the guilt she feels over what they've been doing and that she been cheating on her husband has become too great for her conscience to bear. She insists to her son that they need to try and put their past behind them and re-establish their former mother-son relationship, and this is the main crux of the story, with her struggling to try and out the proverbial genie back into the bottle.

The son agrees to try, but in truth only wants to find a way into making her his lover again. The mother is trying her best, but often finds her mind wandering, because she's still very much attracted to him. It doesn't help that her marriage isn't particularly good, making her old lover that more tempting. The son isn't necessarily being aggressive, but her wants her and she knows it, adding more fuel to the situation.

I like the tension rather than just making it normal.

Turns into multiple trysts where the seduction works followed by guilt, in different settings. We can push the taboo heavily like:
1. He fucks her on a Sunday morning while husband showers, before church. She walks into church with her pussy dripping son's thick load into her panties. The sermon is about faithfulness in marriage.
2. When husband isn't around, son talks to, and physically acts with Mom like he is her lover. She reprimands him constantly but it's so empty that he knows there's no force behind it.

I don't know where to take the story though at the end. Do they end up together without Dad in the picture? Does he impregnate her and everyone assumes it's Dads? Does Dad find out and end up realizing he'd rather his own seed be the man fucking his wife rather than some stranger?

I think between these two posts a great story can come of it. I'd read it.
The ending? In my opinion, I'd go with divorce and her moving away. Far away and changes her name back to her maiden. But the son follows (per their plan) with him changing colleges so that they can still live together. Afterward they pose as cougar and cub with no one the wiser that they are mom/son. Its a fairly common HEA ending for this sort of story. Real good work from @FantasySharer1.

I don't know where to take the story though at the end.

I'd like to see her move away on her own, divorcing her husband with the transition. One last desperate attempt to have a "normal" relationship with her son, with a thousand miles in between them. After several weeks of them swapping "normal" mother/son texts and a phone call or two, there is a knock on her door.
