Moving into the dark (Closed)

He mmmed into the kiss as he returned it while Rayna carefully helped to free him. It took a few moments before he was mostly free from Kyleen's grasp. He laughed softly for a moment at Rayna's mention of the tails.

"It will take a little more work, that's all."

He shifted a bit so that he could reach the first tail. He carefully uncurled the first one, shifting so that it wrapped back around Tayna's only. The others weren't quite so cooperative, taking longer before he was finally free himself. Shifting so he could sit up on the edge of the bed. He groaned softly, feeling his muscles aching all over.

"You ladies did a number on me."

He winked to Rayna playfully before giving her ass a playful pinch. He soon made his way to the bathroom, finding the ointment for her. He gave it to Rayna before going into the shower to let the hot water relax his muscles some.

Rayna laughed lightly watching him fight with Kyleens' tails and a couple of times it seemed as though she would wake up because of it. The most that came from it though were a few more whimpers and her ears lowering from all the shifting around.

"We Had to see what it took to wear you out."

Rayna teased and jerked a little from the pinch, then watched him walk off. When he came back with the ointment she carefully put it on and instantly felt the soothing from it. While he was in the shower, Kyleen curled up and settled down again, although not holding onto Rayna as possessively as she was Zion. Her tails remained wrapped around Rayna and kept her warm as they both slept.

One of the waiters knocked lightly on the door, though didn't get a response and quietly peeked into the room to see if she was disturbing anything. Seeing it was clear and quiet except for the shower, she placed a fresh tray of food in the kitchen and cleaned up a few things that Aurora didn't grab.

He had heard the door open, but he didn't check to see who it was. After all, he didn't believe security was so bad here that Aurora would have let the hunters in.

He finished up the shower and turned the water off as the door opened and closed once more. Seeing his ladies still asleep, he made his way into the kitchen to see what was brought in. He smiled seeing the food, grabbing a couple of bites.

Trying to ease the soreness in his muscles, Zion began doing a long routine of strecthing in the largest open area there was.

Rayna slowly fell into a deep sleep once more to the sound of his shower, though the light sounds of the waitress moving around was heard, she ignored them. With Kyleen however, she slowly and very reluctantly woke up since all the moving around earlier, the scent of food and sounds in the other room had her ears twitching. Kyleen opened her eyes and took a moment to adjust to the dim lighting and found that it was Rayna instead of Zion sleeping next to her, questioning on when that happened.

Her head was pounding as she crawled out of bed, covering Rayna up with the blanket before leaving the room. It has been a while since she heard the shower shut off and he didn't come back into the room. Though Kyleen assumed it was because he didn't want to wake them up, with a yawn and a stretch she groggily wondered out of the room.

She smiled when seeing him stretching in the lounging room and without disturbing him she went to the kitchen to see what food was brought. Picked at a few things while peeking the fridge for some juice or something to drink and perhaps to help wake her up a little more.

He spent his time strecthing with his eyes closed to help control his breathing. He had heard someone moving around, but he didn't bother to see who it was. Once he was finished, he decided to grab some more food and something to drink.

He smiled seeing Kylern already in the kitchen as he walked in. He moved up behind her, hugging her from behind as he kissed her cheek.

"Good morning Little one. Did you sleep well?"

He moved from her to the refrigerator, pulling out some orange juice. Pouring a glass for himself, he placed the jug within Kylern's reach in case she wanted some.

"Our little wolfess still asleep?"

"Yes, I slept well. Though my head is pounding, maybe I should do some stretching too."

Kyleen smiled and kissed his cheek in return before he went to the fridge, however when he turned from her, she smacked his bare ass playfully.

"She will probably wake up soon, but yes, she was still fast asleep when I got up."

Pulling out a glass she filled it with the juice and made a little breakfast sandwich with what was on the tray. With one of her tails she flicked it lightly across his crotch playfully for a reaction. She wasn't expecting more sex or anything, just being her playful self despite the pounding headache.

"I feel like I could sleep for a week personally."

She looked around the room a sighed a little while her tail kept lazily caressing him.

"I kind of hate to leave this place, its really fun here."

He grinned at her teasing, enjoying the attention. He reached down and ran his fingers along her caressing tail in return for a few moments. He sipped his orange juice in his other hand.

"Next time you should probably ease up on the alcohol."

He moved his hand from her tail to run down her spine gently. He picked up a few pieces of cheese, eating them slowly. He shook his head softly for a moment.

"It may be fun, but we can't stay here all the time. But that doesn't mean we can come back here on occasion."

He smiled and kissed her softly for a moment before pulling away to check on Rayna.

Kyleen laughed though held her head slightly from the pain.

"I can handle the booze... It was all the activities, trying to keep up with them dancers."

Kyleen purred while he caressed her tail and she enjoyed every second of it, the feeling he gives her is something she doesn't ever want to lose.

"I know we can't stay here. I doubt I could keep up if we did stay here, those dancers and Rayna don't know when to quit."

She laughed again and returned his kiss only to give him another playful smack on the ass when he walked away. Kyleen followed him after grabbing her glass of juice and finished it off while walking. Although she didn't go with him to the bed, instead she went to the bathroom and decided to take a shower as well, hoping it'll ease her body some.

Rayna was starting to wake up again slowly, unaware that her wolf ears had appeared during a dream she was having. It wasn't a bad nightmare like she normally has, though it was turning into one which is what urged her to wake up. More often than not she can wake herself before the nightmares became too much, though there were those rare times when she couldn't. The sound of voices in the other room and then the shower running and just when she opened her eyes, all she saw was a huge shadow in the door.

Naturally this had her heart pounding in fear until she realized it was Zion and it took several moments for her to calm down a little. She groaned at herself and pulled the blanket up over her head in hopes to go back to sleep just to wake up to a better situation. Of course, she knew that wouldn't happen with Zion walking towards the bed.

He chuckled softly as he heard Rayna groan before trying to hide in the sheets again. He stood in the doorway for a few more moments before walking in and sitting down on the edge of the bed. He didn't do anything yet, just sit there listening to the showere run as he sipped his orange juice. He finallt reached over and placed his hand on Rayna's covered ass, squeezing teasingly for a moment.

"Trying to sleep in all bad, naughty wolfess?"

Rayna peeked out from under the blanket with her ears perked up some and squirmed teasingly away from his squeezing hand.

"No, not all day.. just long enough to get a restart.... If that happens to be all day, then so be it."

She stuck her tongue out much like Kyleen does and pulled the blanket back over her head. Her legs curled and in the process her feet stuck out from the blanket and she slowly worked on the material to get her feet covered again.

"Are we in a rush to go out in the evil world? Its nice and peaceful in here.... and you have a harem here too."

He chuckled softly watching Rayna try to hide herself from him.

"That may be true, but a guy can only perform for so long. Besides, you ladies wore me out."

He gave Rayna a smack on the ass before pulling the covers from her. He stood up from the bed, holding it up teasingly before dropping it on the floor.

"Besides, those cockroaches are probably still waiting somewhere and we have things left to do."

Rayna growled and made a weak attempt to grab at the blankets, though he was too quick with the action and she failed. She watched as he stood up and knew he expected her to move and grab for it, instead she grinned. With the dim light there were plenty of shadows to play with and within seconds a clawed hand reached out for the blanket.

"Those roaches are easy to crush. Its the wolf I'm worried about, I have no doubts he knows we are here by now."

The shadowed hand very slowly and subtly pulled on the blanket to get it away from Zion. She had every intention on getting up at this point, however, a little fun before hand never hurts anyone.

He smirked for a moment at the mention of her ex, chuckling softly.

"I have an idea of how to deal with him when the time comes. Either way, it's time to get up."

He felt the tug on the blanket for a moment and shook his head. He tugged back on the blanket a little, but not with much force. He toyed the with hand for a few moments before he just threw the blanket back over Rayna.

"I've got such a lazy wolfess on my hands."

He laughed and then headed out of the bedroom to start gathering things up.

Rayna laughed when he threw the blanket back and she curled up in it, though she didn't go to sleep this time. She took a few moments to think about what he just said about her ex and wondered what he meant by it. After a few moments of relaxing and stretching in bed a little bit, Rayna got up and headed off to the shower just as Kyleen was getting out.

Kyleen had her tails hidden away so it would be easier to wash and dry off quickly. Rayna told her to leave the shower on as she climbed in and kissed Kyleen in the process. The dancers had left a few outfits for them both to keep if they desired and Kyleen picked out a white outfit that she was sure he would like.

Kyleen came out from the bedroom and sat on the couch to put on the matching heels.

"What do you think of this outfit? Aurora gave us some outfits to keep."

She stood up and did a little spin to show off the whole outfit.

He smiled for a moment at the outfit she had on.

"Very sexy, Little one."

He whistled at her for a moment before he began getting redressed himself. He looked at the pile of stuff Auroa had given them had chuckled softly.

"She really spoiled you two with all that stuff. There really is no way we can carry everything by ourselves. Perhaps we should have her keep everything in a safe place here and I send some of the androids to pick them up later."

Truthfully he didn't want to lug it all around in full view or on the bikes. It would have made them bigger targets for people besides the ones hunting them, like thieves or bandits. He carefully stack the small pile of tapes next to the rest of the clothing.

"Plus we'll need to head home soon so we can get to work on the plan I came up with, which will involve all of us to get through pulling it off for the wedding."

Kyleen helped him clean up after getting his approval of her outfit. Rayna came out of the shower a few moments later and got dressed in some tight jeans, a red corset top and platform calf high boots. She heard him talk about leaving the stuff here and she agreed to the idea. Both of them were setting the clothes up in a neater pile, using the bags and boxes provided. Though they did pack up a couple of bags to take with them now.

It didn't take long for them to finish up with the clothes and helped him with little things. The whole time Kyleen was thinking about the wedding, wondering what his plan is and part of her did fear the idea. She was silent for most of the time as they cleaned up, her and Rayna did grab some more to eat as they rested for a bit afterwards.

"The stuff should be easy to pack away later for the bots. I will let Aurora know that we will collect it later as well."

Rayna spoke as she stood up and stretched a little while looking over the room one last time to make sure they had everything. Kyleen was kind of lost in thought with her ears partly down as she finished eating and drank the rest of her juice.

Zion watched them for a few moments before deciding a plan of action.

"Why don't you ladies wait five minutes and then head outside. I am going to go and take care of the cockroaches."

He gave both of them a kiss for a moment before heading out of the room, not giving them much of a chance to protest. Once downstairs, he asked Auroa for a back way out of the club. Once she pointed the emergency exit out, he was outside quickly. He took a few moments to check the alley way out, but didn't see any signs of the man or woman. Satisfied, he made his way to the mouth of the alley, looking out.

To his amazement, he saw the woman from the day before, but no sign of the man. She didnt even seem to be trying to hide anymore, just sitting at a table at the little outdoor cafe just a few feet down the street. Her back was towards the strip club, a paper in front of her and a cup of something on the small table in front of her.

Moving as quietly as possible, he came up behind her. He quickly closed a hand around her throat and the other over her mouth as she gasped in surprise. He whispered softly in her ear.

"Scream and I squeeze, understand?"

She swallowed for a moment, but nodded carefully before he removed his hand. He watched her hands as he spoke again.

"Now who are you and what are you doing following us?'

The woman took a deep breathe for a moment before speaking.

"I'm Jia Long, of the Japanese Self-Defense Force and we need your help."

He blinked for a moment hearing those words. He last thought Japan had collapsed during the war, but here was proof they hadn't. He growled softly for a moment, knowing this was something he needed to find out more about. He released Jia from his grip, crumbling the newspaper as he moved to sit across from her to get a better look.

"Start talking."

Both of them were shocked that he wanted to leave without them. Though, he really didn't give them a choice either as they looked at each other while he walked out the door. It made them wonder what his hurry is, then again, he seems like the type that doesn't like to just sit around doing nothing either. Something Rayna was quickly picking up on and Kyleen knew what going home meant, which didn't help.

All in all, they finished what they were doing collecting a few little things and followed after a few moments. They talked to Aurora for a couple more moments before heading out to look for him. It wasn't difficult at all to find him as they both picked up his scent and followed it from the alley way. What they saw surprised them even more, seeing him sitting down and having an actual conversation with one of the 'roaches' wasn't something they expected.

Kyleen growled a little under her breath as she didn't trust this other female at all, wondering where her partner hid. Rayna took her hand and pulled her to follow as they sat down on either side of Zion, glaring at the woman in front of them. Kyleens' tail flicked with some irritation, however neither one of the interrupted the conversation and trusted him enough to at least not be disrespectful.

Jia frowned for a moment when the two ladies sat down on either side of Zion, though she did recognize Rayna from the wanted posters she and her partner had put up. It took Jia a moment to gather her thoughts on how to best go about what the JSDF wanted without giving too much away. She took a sip of tea before beginning to speak.

"I came to find the ones who had been in contact with the Nightmare because we want to hire him."

Zion frowned for a moment and opened it his mouth to speak. However Jia waved her hand dismissively as she continued to talk.

"Just listen. The JSDF has been following the exploits of the Nightmare for sometime now. We know that he recently had a run-in with Thanatos LockHart, and despite what Thantos said, got his objective. However, he has had in his possession a painting which we need back desperately, vital to our national security. Our agents haven't been able to get close to retrieve the painting, but we do believe that Nightmare can get it for us."

She paused for a moment, pulling out a folded piece of paper. Zion smirked for a moment as he listened to the agent. He had knew that spies would still be operating in the world, he just didn't think he would become the target of them. Though Jia still didn't know who she was talking to, he still kept on edge.

The paper was soon revealed to be one of the wanted posters they had seen earlier. Jia looked towards Rayna for a moment.

"These were put up as a calling card once you left the city a few days ago, Rayna. We know you have had contact with him at least once, so you were our best shot. As an incentive to help us, my partner has taken down almost all of the posters we placed around the city. He did say some were already gone, but that was to be expected. The best time for the Nightmare to strike at Thantos will be during the confusion and celebration of the wedding. If he does take the job, when he decides to stake some playtime in Japan, so to speak, the JSDF will let him do as he pleases there. We can't speak for the other authorities, but he will get a pass from us."

Zion chuckled for a moment.

"And if he refuses or ignores the offer?"

Jia narrowed her eyes for a moment before speaking.

"Let's just say the reprecussions won't be pleasent."

She leaned down and picked up a folded newspaper, laying it on the table. It wasn't hard to see a black antenna sticking out of it, signifing the hiding of some communication device.

"Now that I am through here, I expect to hear from him or a representative in the next day or two."

She gathered her things up before looking at the three of them. She was taking a big risk on this gamble, hoping things would turn out how she had told her superiors they would. She got up from the table, left enough money to pay for her meal and walked off down the street.

Kyleen liked this whole shifting her appearance when out in the public, it meant that no one, not even a measly spy would recognize her. Although, from what she studied, spies were not suppose to be around anymore and it did catch her off guard a little while listening to this woman speak. None of what she said settled well with either Rayna nor Kyleen, yet they both kept quiet. Rayna especially didn't like this woman considering she has been spying on her and that is something Rayna hated the most.

For the most part she did her best to keep hidden from the world to stay out of the eyes of those she hates. Recently though that seems to be impossible to do and it seriously had the wolf irritated, even growling low under her breath. Rayna sat there glaring at the woman the entire time, wanting to strangle her for putting up those damn posters and making her out like some criminal. She didn't care if they were taking down the posters now or not, the point is other hunters have them, other hunters will be after her and just create more problems.

They both watched as the woman left the table as if it was nothing and left the two of them at least speechless for now. Rayna still couldn't stop glaring at her as she walked off, half tempted to still strangle her through the shadows.

"I don't like her and I don't trust her...."

Rayna spoke first as she stood up from the table and started to walk off towards where she left her car, not even waiting for Zion or Kyleen. Though, she knew they wouldn't be far behind her, she just needed a moment to cool her thoughts down. Passing up another post with her face all over it didn't help at all and she growled deeply as the poster burned up in black shadow fire.

Kyleen didn't really know what to say or how to feel really, the woman didn't give a chance for any questions at all. Even then, she couldn't understand why a painting would be vital to national security. Nothing about it made sense to her as she stood up and took Zions arm to follow after Rayna.

"What do you think of all this? Rayna looks like she wants to kill that woman.... As for me, I don't know if I believe her or not. I don't trust her and It could be a trap to capture... Nightmare."

Zion didn't say anything as Rayna spoke before standing up and storming off. He watched her for a moment before taking Kylern's hand as he stood up.

"I find it all interesting. I really doubt this is a true trap, in the terms of what you are thinking. She was more of a messenger and agent than a spy. I figured that such people didn't exist anymore, but if some form of government is still around..."

He trailed off for a moment as he picked up the folded newspaper with his free hand, tilting the bundle a little. It appeared that a old style walkie-talkie was in there for any sort of contact. He lowered it back by his side before kissing Kyleen's forehead.

"Let's go keep our wolfess out of trouble."

Kyleen just smirked when mentioning Rayna getting into trouble knowing that she is just upset by what has happened.

"I doubt she will get into trouble, she just wants to get out of here. She will cool off once we get home."

She squeezed his hand as they walked, then lifted it up to her lips and kissed it. The more she thought about what transpired between that agent and the things that were spoken.

"If that woman just wanted to talk, why didn't make it more discrete? She followed us for the better part of yesterday, she could have slipped any of us a piece of paper with meeting information."

Kyleen spoke while watching Rayna walking into a random drug store, though Kyleen decided to wait outside for her instead of going in.

"At least, that is what I would have done. They just made it more difficult for Rayna to get around now, Thanatos most likely would have seen, at the very least heard, about those wanted posters. Which means he'll have his own men looking for her as well."

Kyleen sighed heavily while they waited, though luckily they didn't have to wait too long before Rayna came back out with a small back of items. And even though she was still highly irritated, Rayna was calm enough to take Zions other hand when seeing them waiting for her. Rayna didn't say anything since she was still processing all that the agent had said.

He shook his head softly for a moment at Kyleen's questioning about Jia's motivations.

"You bring up some valid points, but I'm not the one to be asking. Agents, spies, and soldiers like me operate very differently. As far as why she acted like she did, she could have been told to do that, or just felt it safer that way. After all, the approach is always up to the indiviual."

He smiled for a moment as he watched Rayna go into the drug store for a moment, chuckling softly.

"Don't worry about that. I have a way to smooth that little bump in the road out. The plan I have is going to be simple...well, maybe not that simple. I can try and take in what variables I can, but as the saying goes...Eevn the best laid plans change when they meet the enemy."

He pursed his lips for a moment before shrugging.

"At least I think that's how it went. It's an ancient saying, but the meaning never changes."

He smiled as Rayna finally came out, taking his hand. He looekd between the two for a moment.

"I would say we go and pick up the rest of Rayna's car parts and then head home. I would say we've had enough excitement for the moment. Shall we?"

Rayna caught some of the conversation and naturally assumed it was about her, although she didn't say anything as they walked. Kyleen wasn't too sure of what to say, other than what she already said and his response really gave no room for more questions. After Rayna gathered the rest of her ordered parts, she started to really think about her own private plans. More and more she was realizing how weak she has become and it didn't settle well with her, she used to be strong and always able to hide in plain sight.

"Can... Would you be willing to train me more? To teach me to use the shadows like you use them? New and more powerful tricks. What I know is all self taught and you've seen how limited that is."

Rayna spoke quietly with her head lowered, though she kept her head lowered to keep from being seen as they walked through town. She could feel someone watching her and she picked up the scent of her ex mate, however, he never acted or shown himself so she didn't concern herself too much with him.

"Also, Rayna is disappearing. I need a new name, a new look... Can you help with that? I bought dye for my hair, a kit to cut it. However, I can't do it on my own and make it look good."

She caught sight of one last poster and ripped it off the street light as they kept walking.

"This image no longer exists, the name is dead to me. There are far too many out there that are looking for this person..... I'm the hunter, not the prey....."

Zion nodded gently as he listened to Rayna as they walked. Her requests were simple, but he really didn't have experience at teaching others. Yet something new for him to do soon.

"I have no problem with trying to help you become stronger. However, you'll have to be patient with me as well."

He grinned for a moment before continuing.

"I don't mind helping you change your looks, but I think someone else would have a better way with that than me."

He had also caught a whiff of her ex-mate, which made him decide something should be done. If he was around, things would get complicated for his plans. He carefully moved their hands so that the two of them were holding on to each other, his hands resting lightly on their shoulders.

"I need to go and take care of something my lovlies. Why don't the two of you go ahead and head back to the vehicles? I will try not to be too long."
