Yeah, I know, there's probably a better forum for this, but thought I'd try here. Every time I reply to a post my mouse pointer jumps around like it's on meth. I have to reboot. Any advice would be welcome. Using Chrome and 8.1 (grrrrrr) Windows. Yes, I've used Norton.

Try new batteries in your mouse?

Thanks, done that. I should have been more specific. This only happens when I 'reply' to a thread. Like now. It will take me five minutes to try to catch the mouse pointer over "reply". But I'll reboot and be back. Maybe this is the Lit Gods telling me to Quit Replying To Threads.

It doesnt happen on any other site??

The developer build of Chrome is 35.0.1883.0 , the stable build is 33.0.1750.149 m

How did you get version eight....

I have found its a general issue with chrome ( specifically in my case the mobile version ). Try using Chromium . I think it can use your omnibox data ( saved passwords ) but can't actually remember

That is strange.... did you threaten it?? ;)

I think my Mouse didn't like my Temporary Cat when I was staying with my mudder. Hey! I didn't have to reboot last reply. Keep your fingers crossed on this one. Or if your fingers are busy, just bite your lip. Or I can just keep typing in hopes that my Mysterious Mouse has gone to sleep. Hokay, here we go!

Thank you. Will try.

If thats the case its the throw option in windows 8
Google "disable charms bar". Windows 8.x has odd pointer areas in the top left and top right area.

Fuck, I guess I need Classic Shell to disable the wrongly named Charms Bar. Tis okay, I like Classic Shell and have used it before. Microsoft sucks.
