Oh I would have loved to have tried that! Sorbet is something I love and so is ginger, definitely going to have to look up how to make that!

The concept is dead simple. You basically have to grate fresh ginger and squeeze it to get the juice out. You'll need lots of fresh ginger. There's no easy way to do this. It is just patience and brute force. (Sounds like a job for Baxter!)

I used half juice and half simple syrup mixed and added to an ice cream maker. If you don't want to be overwhelmed by the ginger, you can try using half juice and half water, with an equal amount of simple syrup. (In case you don't know, simple syrup is equal portions of sugar and water, heated and stirred, until the sugar dissolves completely.) All liquids should be cooled to refrigerator temps before being added to the ice cream maker.

That's it, I think!
