boobs getting larger is quite often a side effect of birth control pills, in fact my ex-wife used to take the things just to insure she had big boobs,,, she had a real problem with self-esteem and figured that was cheaper than an implant.

Nope, they aren't tender all the time. Especially after your body gets used to the bcp, the tenderness is one side effect that comes and goes. But a nice, soft caress can do wonders.
