My first real date was?

I was 15.... I was asked to the Homecoming Dance by a senior - he actually ended up being crowned HC King. I was scared witless and my mama told me to wait in my room for a few minutes to make a grand entrance. When I finally walked out, my mother was showing him her butcher knife and explaining what she'd do if he harmed a single hair on my head! I had just recovered from that humiliation when I slipped down the stairs. ALL the way down the stairs. Luckily the skirt over my head hid my crimson cheeks.

And you thought your 1st date was awkward, Smoke???

awww dayummm! stop that! lol but thankyou! made me smile even hearing the first 2 bars... *shiver*

SJZ76 please at least tell me you weren't wearing granny knickers!

My first real date was when I was 15. I adored a girl in my English class. We had to write a poem and I wrote one about her, thinking I had disguised iy enough. The teacher read all of them out in class and after she read mine out, Karen knew it was about her and so did everyone else. I was so red and embarrassed. Later on, she passed me a note and said I was cute and liked me. I asked her out to go roller-skating and because I worked there as a rink guard, I got her in for free for both sessions. It was also my first real kiss, when I said goodnight.

I asked this girl that I'd had the worst crush on forever to go with me to a school dance. We were both fourteen. We went separately, and when I got there and saw her, I almost fell over in shock, she was so gorgeous. Long, perfectly straight strawberry blonde hair that came down to her waist, a purple dress that did nothing but set that hair off perfectly. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her there, and a part of me is still in love with her to this day.

We dated for three more years, until I completely and utterly fucked everything up. You know adolescent boys - never satisfied with what they have. I know where she is, though I haven't seen her in decades. I do believe, in all honesty, that if I had half a chance, I'd go for it again. I've never quite gotten over her. She was the most amazing girl I've ever known, and I think of her often.

Oh well, what's done is done, and cannot be undone.

I have NEVER worn granny knickers! Even at a sweet and innocent 15, I had great taste in underthings.

Ok, so that would have been considered a blushing moment? laying waste to the claim that you never blush!!!!

I was 14 and had been talking to him online for months. It was a double date with me dating the younger brother (my same age) while my friend went out with the older brother (16). After spending the night at her house we went out with them that day. I don't really remember a whole ton about it except that we were gone until way late in the evening. We went out to dinner and visited a haunted house, which led to some fun groping arguements afterward.

When we did finally get back to my friend's house it was so late I called my parents to let them know I'd be staying over again. They flipped soon as they answered the phone having expected me home hours ago, having harassed everyone at my friend's house because they didn't know where her Mom had taken us. At the time I wasn't allowed to date so I certainly didn't tell my parents what we'd been up to.

It caused alot of problems for a few years, the guy never asked me back out, and my friend dated his brother for a few years.

So am I.............

No, seriously - in Ireland people generally meet in pubs, start "going out" and just sorta drift into a relationship - but not really as formal as dating

well, still, there had to be a first time "going out, pub meeting" no boyfriend in high school?

At 17, she was 15 got stuck on the Tube for 45 minutes and then ordered the wrong film tickets. Spent about the first 30 minutes of the film like a nervous wreck until she held my hand and leaned inwards and kissed. We kept going out for almost a year after that.

My first real date was when I was 15. He was a senior, we went to Chili's and to see a movie. Don't ask cause I don't remember the flicks name and not for obvious reasons. It was a long time ago and he was a total tool. I think I would have rather stayed at home and watched a re-run of Saved BY The Bell.......
