Wow, that's a lovely dress. and I imagine the bride's father will be having very improper thoughts about you...

I hope not, i'm related to him

Lelanni... despite all the tongues wagging from the guys here over you in that dress, which you look great in btw, I would suggest finding a different dress to wear to the wedding. That just doesn't look like something to wear to a wedding imho, it looks kind of "promish" to me or at least what girls in CA seem to like to wear to proms.

I think wearing something shorter that's body hugging and sophisticated showing off your great figure yet not slit all the way up to there, would still leave something to the imagination and will turn heads just as well.

So if you really did want opinions, for what it's worth, there's mine :)

I am having doubts about it as well. I really appreciate such wonderful comments from everyone but I may have to find something else to wear. I plan on wearing my pink dress for another function that is coming up this year.

For now, I need to a dress for this wedding which means it's time to shop for a new dress. Maybe I'll post some pics of it once I find something I love. ;)

Hi Lelanni,

WOW - love the dress

BUT

For the wedding ...

Are you a bridesmaid and this is the dress chosen for you?

If not ...

As you are so beautiful, I would suggest a more elegant outfit that really complements your figure and look, perhaps something with a cream base that sets off your delicious colouring ...

  Katie

Good thinking, and glad I didn't offend you with what I said.

Katie is right, I bet something cream colored would look terrific with your coloring....hmmm maybe even a rust color perhaps.

I wasn't very convinced myself once i tried the dress on again. That's why i asked for all your opinions. :)

I love the colour cream. But when i shop, i don't look for particular colours. Certain items just pop out at me that i fall in love with. Sometimes they are colours that i would never picture myself wearing.

You're right - it's not so much the colour (and just about any colour would look great on you), more the cut and the fabric.

It's when you're browsing round the store, and something just catches your attention. That's the one. Something slightly slinky, and headturning (how could it not be with you wearing it? ;) ), but not flashy or overdone. Simple, classic lines...

I have a little dilemma. I was in Florida earlier this year and I purchased a dress for a wedding I am attending in June. I'm not sure if i should wear this dress anymore. I thought i'd show you guys to see what you think. Here are some pictures my girlfriend took of me modelling it the day I bought it.

By the way, should I do my hair straight or wavy? My hair is wavy in these pics.

gorgeous Dress..... wavy hair looks good on ya.... :cathappy: :rose:

Yes! on the dress. Incredibly hot. ... And I'd go wavy with the hair.

I'd say in general, bold pinks/purples, anything in that direction will look great on you. Cream, yes, but as long as it's not too yellowy. Do you avoid green usually? A bold green is fine (you're not Irish, though, right lol), but yellow-green maybe not so much.

I agree the dress doesn't show off your dynamite figure. You'd look good in a burlap sack, but I think a dress that hugs you more would be that much more flattering.

I think the wavy hair is gorgeous for any occasion, a wedding, going to the supermarket, going on a date with me.....that sorta thing....
