I thought about ringing her and telling her my heart is broken but what is that going to solve? She was mean and abusive but I love her. The fuck. She says she's sorry but she's not and she treats me like dog crap.

I really love her underneath it all and this has never happened to me before and I don't know what to do.

Should I just fucken go to sleep?

I rang her this morning and I told her that I'd changed my mobile number and for her to not waste her credit trying to ring or message my old number.

I asked her how she was and she said good. I tried to let it go but I knew by her voice she wasn't good. And then I got a phone call to go into work, so I excused myself and got ready.

My family and friends tell me she treats me like shit and that I should let her go. But I miss her.

I'm sorry, girlsmiley. When there is love it's hard to just walk away.

I wish I could give you a hug, some chocolate and tell you it's going to be ok.

Perhaps you could write her a letter or an email and let it all pour out.

Maybe just maybe things might get better. She might see how she has treated you and sort herself out.

Whatever happens - you're an amazing, strong, loving human being and walking away is the hardest thing to do.

The best decision i ever made was made 2years ago last week.
I still miss her and Us, but together we were mostly a wreck.
But sometimes the best things are the hardest. I do not regret my decision
One bit.
But it still hurt and the missing still happens all too often. But its a natural part of
Grieving.
Sorry for your pain. It will get better no matter what.
:)

Ps: Debbie Nailed it;)

I hope you feel better soonest . . . but realistically, it takes awhile.

Been there, done that.

Try to separate which is the memory, which is the fantasy, and which is the reality . . . and then focus on the reality. I discovered that I was angry/hurt over the last ex because I blamed her for wrecking the relationship that I terminated. Yes, I know, but it's true.

And now you are available for the better person when she arrives. You'll be better for it in the long run.

Time makes all girls ugly.

50 years ago a beautiful girl shit on me. That 68 year old woman looks like hell.

I would have given her everything. A family, a beautiful warm home, a job, a car. Me. Stability. Everything.

But she chose to be petty and immature and narcissistic. Fucking cunt I hate her. But I love her too.

Sounds like my spoiled rotten ex.

It ripped out my guts, but she had to go.

Indifference is the opposite of both love and hate.

Aww petal. :heart::heart::heart:

I'm so sad to hear this, there's no pain on earth like a broken heart. It's fucking bewildering. I can't say it much better than Debbie has. The simple truth to me is if she loved you like you do her she would not treat you this way. You deserve someone who adores you and treats you right. You know that deep down, your head is screwed on, but when your heart is broken you won't listen to logic and the only thing that makes you feel better is them. Leave her be, don't tell her, it'll hurt you more in the end.

Try and keep busy. Put your head down and steer through it. One day you will wake up and it won't feel so bad. And one day you'll be thankful you were rid of her.

Love you loads mate. Stay strong, eat pavlova.:heart::heart:

Indifference. It hurts. I'm sick of pretending how I feel. I loved her. I love her still. But I know she's no good for me and that I can do much better. Perhaps you're right. Maybe she's over me. Maybe I'm too hard.

Every time I've tried to reach out to her, I've been shot down.

That hasn't deterred me, I try again. And again.

I know she loves me, she's just young. She's had shit relationships and that hasn't helped. But my heart...

She hurts my heart.

Love is the cruelest emotion. It gives you amazing highs and cruel lows. Figuring out what is right or best for you is hard to do because of that. The highs can mask the flaws and the lows can exaggerate them. Take some time to figure out what is best for you. She needs to do the same. Then see where you are. Some things aren't meant to be, but some of the best things can be painful to achieve.

Whatever happens, i know the best for you is still to come. Hang in there, sweetie.

The best thing I ever did was walk away from a bad relationship. She was actual a nice person but we brought up the worst in each other. As a couple we were killing each other.

Now that it's over we are both happier. We actually get along now that we are not married. Not that we ever want to get back together but we realized as a couple it would not work.

A quirk of human nature is that we love those we have invested in. The reverse does not work. No matter how much time, love, and resources you invest in them, it does not grow their love for you.

Sometimes, that effort you put in is counter-productive. The other person feels disconnected when they sense they are not putting in the effort you are.

Relationships are hard, breaking up is harder. Ending something requires not only the end of a real life relationship but the end of a dream. It's giving up hope just a bit and realizing that the life you had together, the habits, the routines, they are all over. The thing of it is, you know in your heart it is the right thing to do. Look forward. Think about the new and exciting adventures that are ahead of you. Look forward and find happiness! :rose:

Be honest with yourself. Recognize rejection but don't let it steal your dignity. It doesn't seem like it now but the rest of your life is really worth living. So as you pick up the pieces of a broken heart, be sure to make enough room for the future.:rose:

I don't know if this will help you or not. It helped me once.

No one person is worth that much pain. They really aren't. I forgot who told me that but the more I thought about it, i realized they were right.

Hey, just wanted you to know that I am rooting for you to get through this!
