My muse is gone

If I try it with you, would you be gentle???

Absolutely, except for when you want it rough.

The other half gets so cross if I come back damaged and with twigs in my bra!!
YOu won't be returned damaged (I always get my damage deposit back. Now no twigs in the bra, or sand in the odd place, that I cannot guarantee.

No need to be gentle with me, Ted, I like to be ridden hard and put away wet... or is it that I like to be wet and have you put it away hard or ... something like that. ;)

I would love to work very closely with you and see what we can come up with. :D

I'll PM you.

I find opinion and non-fiction easier to do than fiction. ...
I once heard a discussion between respected authors, one technical and one detective stories.

The fiction author said, "It must be easy for you. If you hit a snag you just go and look up the facts. There is always a right answer for you."

To which the response came, "It must be easy for you - if you have a hole in your story you just make something up to fill it. No problem whether it's right or wrong, no need to spend weeks researching obscure references; just write the first thing that comes into your head."

Having published both technical and fictional work, I think they were both wrong. The research is a b****r in both fields, as is the continuity of story line, grammar and so forth.

I used to write television soap in Britain. The situation is pretty simple. You have to produce x minutes of script in ten days. If you don't, you'll never work for them again.

Strangely enough, I always found I could produce the necessary script. Bizarrely, there were one or two people who had to flirt with danger, and didn't write a word until there were 48 hours to go, then kept themselves awake with pills to do it.

In writing my own stuff, I sometimes try to pretend there is a producer at the end of the unrainbow saying, If you don't finish this by ------- you're fired. But somehow it doesn't have the same effect.

Hm. I meant this to be a help. Pretend there's a ruthless producer, or man with a whip, and see if that helps, is that my message?
