No I just want it over and done with this year. Just can't get in the mood somehow.

I know the feeling
but the day itself is nice if you've family to spend time with
thats the only reason I still like it
hell
it took them like 3 months before I gave my family an x-mass list
cloths(hoodie + socks)
a steel and a water stone(for sharpening knives)
little metal ring things to go under pots on the stove(tructs?)
and a bottle opener

anyways
hope you survive your x-mass then
and hope you can stand the sunday service, I never could

and its really hard to sharpen my knives with a water stone thats ment to mirror finish knives
I've a Japanese finishing stone that I tried to my knives with after my roomie fucked them up
they're better, but I can't get an edge, to much steel to move

we use a steel to sharpen ours..or should i say hubby does.......... last time i tried i blunted them.......on the bone of my hand!!

steels just put an edge on them
they're not ment for longterm use, they'll end up ruining the blade

I've done that a few times hun
by my knives are much much sharper when they're dull, than when you find yours are super sharp

but then again, my carving knives are as sharp as scaples

i certainly hope so too LA. been touch and go for a while there...long recovery so index may not be updated for a long while yet
