Oh Ive bairly started

for my GCSE I gave a 2hr lecture on Osama Bin Laden
I sent 1 1/2 hours doing a quick introduction to Isreal/Palestine for a debate socity I belonged to in school
and I did a debate in my uni bebate socity on "should hamas be in the political process" and spent about an hour answering questions instead of debating! lol

yes... they had a reason for hijacking the planes... they had wives and children and familes as well...

they seemed monolitilic and evil... with a bit of shaking here and there, but no explaination of who they were or why they were here... needed a little bit right at the begining of the movie, just overviewing the US terrorism in the Middle East over the past 50 years... either indirectly with the support of Isreal and the funding of Egypt to support the FNL in Aden (Now South Yemin) agasint the British oil depot there... or directly with training of orgainiseations such as the Talaban and AL Qedea when they fought the Russians in Afganistan. The humiliation of many Arabs by occuping the Holy lands of Sudi and Iraq and indeed, in the latter, not having the support of the Arab forces and going their own way, and then letting the Kurds and Shira get slaugter after telling them to stand up and telling them they would support.

The Al Q attacks on the US just took a step up... and I have done reseach into this area (my disatation at uni is on the Middle East) you will understand how messy it is but watching the Movie Munich... which is quite acccurate given the evidence given... just things getting out of control by those who do not really know whats going on... like the CIA funding Black September so they would not attack US personal....

any more reasons?

..well....there are always different sides in any conflict...

..and when a country..or region, is looking out for itself...it will always try act in it's best interests.....before and after 9/11

..anything the US does or did anywhere in the world is to preserve itself....to grow itself.....

..anyone objecting to that has the right to fight.....no question....

...and any troubled person deserves sympathy...if not empathy.....

...but this movie is just that..it's just a stupid movie....not made by the US Gov't......but by self important......money grubbing Hollywood types.....

..it was not US propaganda...and the filmakers owe nothing to the villians in the movie......it was just another piece of shit that Hollywood churned out.....

...showing the enemy sympathy would have hurt the movie at the box office.......and offended most of the viewers I suspect.....

....I'm sure there are plenty of indie films that will humanize the people that highjacked those plains.......

Propaganda does not need to come from a goverment, but it just retells the story of the American underdog striving agasint the odds to survive.... happens in allot of US movies, goverment or not...

any viewers that would be offened by showing sympathy to the Arabs really need to look outside the tiny box they live in... Yes I am sorry for people that lost their lives in that attack... but what about the tens thousands of Arabs killed off by the Americans? Just like in Black Hawk Down, Americans have long slow painful deaths with lots of wounds and suffering... the Samalis really just fall over dead, no suffering... its not uncommon and its a shame

and they owe everything to the "villians" without them they have no movie...

America is no different than any place else...immense power and wealth comes with certain trappings......

..and All I was saying is that to point out that there was no sympathy for the terroists is silly because that is not the objective of that movie....

..and it's not propaganda either..it's just a crappy attempt at entertainment for sale....
