FORGETFULNESS

Here we go again…mistake number “how many?”

How many times must i go through this? Stumble after stumble. I have disappointed my Master once again and i am at my wits end. i am so tired of stumbling, and if i am so tired of stumbling, can you imagine how tired Master is at seeing me stumble and having to correct me all the time?

i forgot to do my daily journal entry last night. i didn’t forget it on purpose. We all forget something from time to time. It’s only natural. Perhaps so many things are going on that to remember everything is near impossible.

What does it mean to forget? The dictionary describes forgetting as unable to recall or to omit or neglect unintentionally. What does it mean to the offended party? That you’re too busy for them? That you couldn’t be bothered? What does it do or say to them? It hurts them. It hurt Master. i hurt and upset him because i didn’t do something he asked of me…something really simple to do. Will i forget to do this again? No...not on your life. I have a note on my computer…my computer screensaver has “Never Forget my Tasks” floating all over the screen. i am going to make up a list of everything that Master wants so that i won’t forget any of my tasks again.

Pray for me that I will never forget my tasks again.
