OK, so i guess i have to chime in here and defend myself.

As He said, i get grumpy if i'm denied a good whuppin' for too long - call me an endorphin junkie. And yes, they look pretty spectacular when they're fresh, but, like any good slave, i heal quickly, and take very good care of my skin. Kinda like an athlete staying in shape for the game.

And self-esteem, of the lack thereof: i have plenty, thank you very much. i am lifted up through service to my Daddy, spiritually and emotionally. i do not submit to just anyone, i serve He who loves me and cherishes me, and give Him my all in return. It is a symbiosis; neither suffers and both thrive. The degree to which i enjoy physical sensation is simply the way i am wired, and not a need for degradation or abuse. (Of course, a little light-hearted humiliation, just for fun, never hurt me, either. But again, it's all done with love and respect, and i would tolerate it no other way.)
