I think she snuck peas in there because the hamster food mix from the pet store has dried split peas in it.
Well, maybe you should hurry up and take it back before you make them sick with all those nasty peas. Clearly there's something wrong with that hamster food mix. You should write to the company who makes it and chastize them.

There's always certain foods you can't feed animals, tho the list differs depending on the animal.
We've got dogs and they can't have chocolate, can't have grapes or raisins, not supposed to have pork.
