i usually fall asleep by accident, but this is usually what comes before it.

swear slightly realising it's past 4am
say that i'm sleepy and i need sleep, but continue staying up playing or working whatever anyway
brush the cookie crumbs off my pillow
go to the bathroom and brush my teeth even though i know i'll probably eat an orange or some crackers before the actual event anyway
throw all my clothes off the bed so i don't get strangled by them in my sleep.
