My Father - gives every hour of his days to the pursuit of the preservation of a race. Of a people. I wonder if i will ever meet anyone else in the world who can really be said to never act on Ego.

A bus driver i used to have on my route from home into the city. WITHOUT fail he always had a smile and a friendly word to say to you whever you came onboard. I could be in the worst funk...but seeing a total stranger, put in the effort to make my day better, never failed to lift my spirits and i would send the rest of the day smiling like a loon to other strangers.

Someone who i've admired from close and afar on Lit for awhile...who has been exchanging PMs with me recently... who has never, ever failed to pick up on my need for comfort through an obscure or not so obscure post or three...and lent a comforting shoulder. sometimes...just knowing someone is out there, is enough to get you through a bad day.

Someone, for the life of me i can't figure out who it is, but the person who, every week for the past 5 years at least, rolls the bin back from the front of the house to the side of the house for me! WHO ARE YOU?! and THANK YOU, i hate doing that.


My mum, the main presenter of our community radio station, has become like the patron saint to the vietnamese elderly here...some who feel lost here in a land they love but can't understand...and she comes into their homes and is a friend to them... spending hours a day on the phone after her shows.. to people who call...just listening ... reminding them that everyone deserves to be heard .

my answers:

1. Respect others. Alot of people take other people for granted and really aren't nice to others. I understand that you may of had a bad day- but don't take your bad day out on someone and make their good day, bad as well. negative energies should be erased and placed with positive ones.

2. Ban of religions. Alot of wars and fights are based on religion themselves. If we all just believed in what WE believe in, and not rely on a "higher being" and keep awaiting for some proof that God exists etc. Then maybe the world would have less conflicts because who cares if God is more popular than Buddah?

3. Cockiness. Why are people so cocky and try to show off to people like they're the best thing in the world? Pathetic and stupid I say. And a waste of time. I hate it even moreso when they get upset that they never have friends who care O_O

4. Money. Money is the root of all evil they say. It is. Money makes me miserable. It makes people greedy and most of all. It's just PAPER! It's like it's own religion or something that EVERYONE believes in. I think that money should be replaced by sticks and stones. There's more of that then money in the world!

5. Love. Because without love. Then there is nothing to live for. I don't mean love someone or be in a relationship. It can be as simple as loving your passion for art, or for cooking. Just there needs to be more love in this world. Less Hate.
