The choice was Catherine. It's a beautiful name, but this week it feels as if it's not the right name for her.

For a first name? Pretty...but there are a lot of Catherines out there. Maybe a varient? Like Katie?

I've a friend who named their daughter Abigail, an old fashioned name that I rather like. Very magical, like something out of the movie Practical Magic.
