One thousand orgasms in a day

it sure sounds good to me.

101st post

Hey Shila,

"one thousand orgasms in a day must be a record, it sure sounds good to me" was a very interesting post, thanks.

this is a nursery rhyme
i am sure you remember the first 2 lines,
lets see if you can get the last two.
To make it more difficult i have jumbled up the order of words in any given line.

Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water,

heyt doG skown idd rheet thaw pu
dnow herdugat mace hiwt yhTe a

shila comewel

Hey Shila,
welcome to this erotectual thread.
Surprised that i havent seen you around before.
You seem to be full of energy and creativity.
I hope you will keep your intelligent puzzles coming in.

for my nursery rhyme there are 3 hints.

1. it is a twist on the orignal Jack and Jill stuff and the last two lines here have a sexual connotation and therefore have nothing to do with the last 2 lines in the orignal poem.

2. these last 2 lines rhyme with each other (soundwise), and though the order of the words is jumbled in each line, they are not mixed across lines.

3. it is a difficult one, so put on your gintkihn spac.

nice guy.

Re: shila comewel

i haven't needed a thinking cap since third grade, thankyou very much, and yeah, i first signed up 8/8/00 and got 475 or so threads in a a few weeks, left for six more, and now am back tonight.

and i think minx'a got it!

MINX!!!!

Hey minx, what are you, some supergenius?

my goodness, arent you good. and i thought this was a difficult one.

well ... i am a little pleasantly shocked.

heres the answer i had in mind, though yours is fully correct as well.

Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water
God knows what they did up there
They came down with a daughter.

If you sing it properly it fits well in the tune too, try it!

i have to leave now, i hope you guys keep the game running till i return home.

nice guy

you're getting me more and more hooked.

damn you all!!!

*big grin*

Well, I'm not getting this one on my own. Maybe if we all put our heads together, we can solve it. Here's what I have so far. I assume the word ends in 's' because of the plural verb. I think the word ends in 'iacs' because it fits the context of the sentence. The only possible consonant blend is 'sp' (I ruled out 'sc' because of the absence of an 'e'). Sorry if I have stated the obvious. At this point I believe I'd like to buy a vowel!

hint?

thanks for the collaborative effort minx. the plural part i definitely agree, 'iacs' probably not bec shila would have disguised that more in the puzzle if that were true. vowel count is fine by me but an e would have made life easier.

shila can you pl clarify that this word is correct, and if C in caps means anything special e.g. proper noun or simply the first letter. Of course an additional hint would do a lot of good.
